Housekeeping was nonexistant.

Unaware that the room was an interior room right next to the pool. Also, dirty towels were left in a drawer and safe was locked upon entry.
Building engineer was helpful unlocking safe and solving door lock issue.

House keeping staff did not enter room to clean nor did they provide fresh towels. I had to call and request fresh bath towels. We arrived early and were told if we wanted to check into the room that the cost would be an additional fee of $55.00 on top of the $700 I spent for the room. I find this to be unfair and greedy on the part of the Marriott Hotel. I would never stay at any Marriot or affiliate hotel and will not recommend the Marriot to anyone in the future . Awful experience

Hotel room was very clean. The street noise was loud throughout most of the night. Sirens, car alarms etc. There isn't complimentary breakfast, the restaurant is expensive, odd breakfast choices, and the staff was awkward when we asked for only coffee. Definitely found another breakfast place. Location is convenient to most everything we wanted to see. Not overly impressed, was an okay stay.

The property is in a nice area downtown walkable and accessible to many shops and restaurants. All staff that I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. Arranging transportation to and from the hotel was very convenient as pick up and/or drop off was right at the front door. I would stay here again. On-site restaurant and bar was also wonderful.

Location was great - exactly where we wanted to be for our stay in Chicago. We had a leaky sink faucet, but otherwise everything was great. Would stay again given the location and price.

Large rooms, and good location. There was poo in one of the elevators on our second day. We tried to call the front desk but couldnt get through. We told the front desk in person and the women was very nonchalant about it. It was cleaned by the time we got back to the hotel fro. Oit outting.

Forever one of my favorite hotels and one of my two favorite Courtyard properties I've ever stayed at! This is the 3rd year in a row we've stayed here when coming to Chicago and it never disappoints. It feels like a high-end hotel for an affordable price (considering where it is)! The staff is great super helpful, rooms are so clean and overall just is one of the nicest places! Highly recommend if you're looking for a spot in Chicago!

Nothing was really convenient about this property. Check in/ out was overcrowded, elevators were overcrowded, self parking was full, the pool was small and cold.

My stay here was nice and convenient. There were a restaurant and Starbucks onsite. Also, an attached parking garage. The location is great. It was walking distance to alot of shops and restaurants and also a beach. Everything was nice, but I just wished the bed was more comfortable.

Our flights got delayed and we didn’t arrive at the hotel until 00:15 after 12 hours of traveling with my 84 year old mother and 11 year old daughter. They did not have our room with 2 beds and said we forfeited the room due to our late arrival (tried to check in using the bonvoy app earlier in the day and I thought it went through but as I had booked on hotels.com they wouldn’t recognize online check-in). The manager said they probably resold our room between midnight and when we arrived at 00:15. I find that very hard to believe. I think they overbooked and penalize the people who don’t book directly with them. No rollaway bed available. We had to sleep in one bed and my daughter had to sleep on the floor. They told us we were welcome to look for a different hotel. Then the next day we had to move into a 2- bed room. I had already paid online for all 3 nights- it was extremely frustrating and the manager was horrible.

Restaurant service is not acceptable.
We went for dinner at the hotel Restaurant and was told it would be a 30 - 45 mon wait when the restaurant only had 3 tables seated.
The girl was unfriendly and noticed 3 wait staff standing around on their phones.
