Excellent hotel. The outdoor pool is lovely. I have mobility issues so having steps walking down in to the pool was perfect. There is an outside bar for snacks etc. Freshly squeezed orange juice was lovely. Access via 2 lifts. Rooms cleaned every day. Food in restaurant very tasty - takes orders until 10 30pm which was very handy for us. Breakfast free with room - hot and continental. Coffee maker in hotel toom but i took my own hot choc etc and could make it up with hot water from the machine. Disabled friendly. All speak english. Totally recommend this hotel. Only issue a bit far out but the taxis are good so can access town for 4 euros.

Excellent hotel in Santarém, rooms well equipped, many have superb views. Lovely pool, indoor and outdoor. Good buffet breakfast. We had to stay several extra days after our car broke down, the staff have been fantastic!

Hoping to go for a nice get away we headed to Santarem. Ended up being an evening full of footwork and
Spoke to a gentleman at the counter desk and was advised Fado will be playing at a nearby restaurant.
Cutting a long and foot lengthy story short, never did I think I’d be running around the city in the evening looking for it and only to find that restaurant don’t play Fado.
Was a complete waste of time. Ended up eating fast food because of there mix up. Don’t trust their directions either

We had a wonderful stay at the Santarem Hotel. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They even helped us arrange for a ride to Coimbra! We would definitely stay here again.

All the staff were pleasant and helpful and the food was fine.We were required to wear single use plastic gloves at breakfast, whereas, at other hotels during our 10 day trip, each guest had been given their own tongs to pick up items from the buffet. Also the indoor swimming pool tiles might have been cleaner although this did not stop us enjoying a swim.

This is a really lovely hotel. Excellent welcome and service, beautiful room with a fantastic view (4th floor), very good restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Pet friendly. Easy to find and on site parking. Will definitely stay here again.

A decent hotel, would recommend it. It seemed to be used by business people. I was on Camino so looked a bit out of place! The staff were pleasant apart from one waitress who couldn’t raise a smile at all. Service very good and the food excellent. It’s right on the edge of town but only a 20 minute walk to the centre. Pool excellent

Nice hotel, plenty of parking, nice clean rooms, good internet, but sometime a bit erratic, good beds, clean bathroom,....but no mini fridge, and no tea/coffee service in room, tv still a small unit, ...but hotel is being renovated, as 6th floor completed to latest modern standards...fantastic breakfast, lots of choices, specially for vegan/vegetarian, as you can enjoy a hot breakfast of local mushroom/tomatoes or vegatables of season nicely cooked in local olive oil and herbs, all kept seperate from non veg food, very clean and sanitized....only place in our 2 weeks tour of Spain/Portugal could we enjoy a hot cooked breakfast....freshly cuts fruits and as well lots of sweet pastries for those who may eat egg based food....

The staff were wonderful. We were upgraded and had a marvellous suite. Pool awesome and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Perfect for unwinding!

We stayed for two nights on our way to Lisbon and would be very happy to return. We had a problem that we needed help with - nothing to do with the hotel or, indeed, tourism in general - but the receptionist and manager moved heaven and earth to resolve it for us very quickly and effectively.

Hotel rooms were in need for update/renovation. Hotel is not centrally located. WiFi was effectively worthless.

This is an easy hotel to find, just off the ring road, quite a walk from town. Theres a good pool and fitness gym. The evening meal was large, the breakfast a bit dull with no fresh juice. The staff were really good when we asked for a quieter room away from the noise from outside revelers
