Stayed only for one night as had a layover in Riga, but the hotel was good. As expected. Great service.

Decent hotel for the money, location is close to the airport and close to public transport that takes 20min to get into city centre.Rooms are basic, but clean and spacious. Decent bathroom too!

Great hotel, conveniently located close to airport (assuming you have a car); they also have an airport shuttle. The rate was very affordable and the hotel is relatively more comfortable than what typical european hotels of similar category are.

Its really a budget hotel so please do not expect anything at all more than that. I did not expect more than a budget hotel, so all my expectations were reached. Wi-fi dropped a lot during my stay. I got a free upgrade of room after 2 nights after the hotel discovered a problem in my room. The hotel is about 20 minutes from Riga Central Train Station by bus (about an hour on foot on a highway), but there are many buses and minibuses that go that direction, so its quite convenient. Returning at night may be a bit difficult as theres no bus after midnight so a taxi app (Taxify since theres no Uber in Riga) should be readily downloaded on your phone. A normal cap is not easy to find.

We only stayed one night but it was convenient as we had a hire car, for parking, travel from air port, ease to get into ity, ease to pick up main route to our detination in east of country. We requested a room with 3 beds & website indicated 3rd bed may be a temporary one but it was a normal bed and room was big enough for all. Staff were friendly and it was easy to check in & out. Food in restaurant / bar was good. We have stayed here before and will do so again if we have very early return flight or v late arrival flight.

Beds very uncomfortable with on extra pillows or quilts during the cold weather. Very noisy hotel woken up both mornings with banging going on upstairs, walls are very thin. There was 2 beds in the room which only 1 was made back up on the Saturday. No clean towels left either. Good place to stay with car

No Matt protectors, no every day cleaning service, bar stuff is drunk, no respect to costumes... Just miserable and no friendly :(

I picked this hotel because I got in after midnight and just needed a place to lay my head for a few hours. It was cheap and served the purpose.

Relative short drive from airport

The hotel is clean and comfortable, not glamorous. Staff are friendly and anxious to please. Buffet breakfast is perfectly adequate. The neighbourhood is extremely quiet. On a direct bus line to Old Riga, but also walkable for the more adventurous ( view of the city from the bridge is wonderful). restaurant is also very good.

I WAS SATISFIED GENERALLY SPEAKING AND I WOULD STAY IN AGAIN IN THE FUTURE. THE STAFF WAS QUITE HELPFUL WHEN REQUESTED.

The best hotel for such price in Riga. Each cost every penny I've spent there. As price was only 60 dollars and I've stay only for one night (I was intended to catch m early morning flight) I was expected poor dark rooms and etc, I didn't care too much because it was looking for a place to sleep, something better that airport floor :) I was impressed this hotel. It was really good condition, nice, clean and It was really cozy place to stay, keeping in mind it only 10 minutes driving from airport.

We returned very late one night, after midnight, to find bedding and towels on the floor, the room not made up. (We were told later that our room key should have been left at the front desk so they would know the room was available to be cleaned. That policy was not written anywhere we could find.) We wound up getting our own linens from linen closet we located on another floor. Shower drain did not drain well, but nothing was done about it even though we reported the problem. However, the hotel is a good value at its price, clean, breakfasts are full course, the location is good. If basic lack of hospitality is disregarded, it's a good place.

Although this hotel is not in the centre of the city, the local transport is frequent and takes around 10 - 15 minutes to Riga Old Town. .The staff are helpful to guests, there is a small but excellent restaurant there, good choice of dishes, the food is very good, and prices are very fair. The bar is open from 16.00 until 23.00. The breakfast (included in room price) is buffet style and equally good. On the first night there were some fairly noisy guests in the next room, and the sound proofing is not so good. Considering the room prices, I have no complaints at all, and the only suggestion I can make for improvement is that the rooms should have provision for tea and coffee making. If you do not mind a short and cheap journey to the sights of Riga, this hotel is excellent value for money. They have their own taxi service, providing transport at most times, to and from the Riga nightlife. I have no hesitation in recommending the Best Hotel.

The Hotel was just as you would have expected to be when you read the bumph. It was clean, room including the bathroom was cleaned every day; the rooms were comfortable and the restaurant was clean, easy to get a good quaility meal from; it was a short taxi ride from the airport (used the hotel taxi to get back and it was cheaper) a simple tram ride gets you into the centre of Riga. The only real gripe I could say was the TV programmes could have been better, no films on that you could watch in the evening, I would not have minded paying a small fee to watch something good occasionally. Overall I have to say that I would go back to the Best and recommend it to a friend.
