The hotel was very nice and modern and located in a perfect area for exploring the city. We got a room with a balcony overlooking the plaza and the views at sunset were amazing. The room itself was nice, relatively standard. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially everyone at the front desk. They did a great job cleaning the room each day. My only complaint is the bathroom. There is one sliding door for both the shower and toilet and it was extremely difficult to close completely inside either one and impossible to close both simultaneously. I swear designers come up with the weirdest and worst ideas for hotel bathroom doors. Just throw a normal door on there. Anyway, everything else about the hotel, room, staff, location, etc. was amazing and we enjoyed our stay (and room service on our final morning).

Olivia Plaza Hotel was the perfect place for our 4 days in Barcelona. The location was perfect, and we were able to walk to everything! The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was perfect.

Staff was amazimg and very helpful and friendly!!! Breakfast is worth the extra amount. Our room overlooked the square, what a view. I have no negative comments on this hotel at all. We will stay again for sure, our new favorite hotel!!! Thank you staff!!!!!

Housekeeping did not re stock toilet paper one day - had to get it from cart in hall
Surprised there was no place to dispose of recyclables in the room
Did not care for design of bathroom in standard room as had to pull over door from shower to close in area where toilet was

Property was nice. Rooms small. Limited dining as you need reservations but they don’t tell you that upon checking in.

Only one issue: under the hotel every day stay strit musicants, if you wont to relax in medle of the day you will hear drum from noon till evening. After 9pm the musicants are going.

It is a Great location, service and the staff are more the accommodating, rooms were not ready but they send us to the upper floor for work coffee and snacks, we had the 10th floor with amazing views on both side, I worked on my laptop so the chairs are narrow I had to bring other chair but the staff nothing to say but amazing I extended 4 time our stay and we had two rooms as it was really great experience , breakfast was great

How close it is to shopping, restaurants, taxi pick up in front of hotel and tour busses are at the Catalona square would recommend to anyone travel to Barcelona for first time

The best location in the heart of Gothic Quarter. Easy to go anywhere by walking, subway/train, taxi. 👍👍👏👏☺️😍

This was an amazing stay and location was excellent! Me & my mother were able to walk everywhere & truly convenient. The hotel was situated in the prime location of Placa de Catalunya. Olivia hotel met all my expectations. I want to give a big thanks to the staff who were super friendly & very professional. I want to personally thank Alejandro for his attentiveness & kindness. He answered all of our concerns with detail information & helped us navigate throughout our stay. Thank you once again Olivia Hotel.

great location and very easy to find. Unfortunately, the guests in the next room were extremely noisy and a little aggressive about complaints and this had a very negative impact on our stay.

The Olivia Plaza Hotel is in the center of everything: Hop on Hop Off, Metro, Tourist attractions, Food, La Rambas, and is an excellent place to stay!

Perfectly located. Rooms are basic but clean. Nice view on Placa Catalunya. The VIP acces mentioned (free drink for every guest) is not in the bar, but at the reception. Staff is friendly. I would go back there!

Hotel is in a convenient location. It’s close to shopping, sightseeing, churches, restaurants and bars. Rooms are a little small but it’s not abnormal for it being in Europe.

This hotel was perfectly located in the Gothic Quarter and Las Ramblas. It was within walking distance to shopping and eateries. The hotel has constant security so it was very safe. Beautiful hotel when you walk in. Great bar. Excellent staff. The walls were a little thin. We had our radio on and the neighbor pounded on out doors then hid inside their room when we opened the door.

The Olivia plaza hotel was beautiful, it was in a great location, easily walkable to all main sites. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked placa catalunya that was great to sit out on! We highly recommend the Olivia plaza hotel!
