Entire Staff, from doorman to breakfast, treated us like royalty. They went above and beyond to make our stay easy and trouble free, from booking our bus to Copacabana to giving us an early breakfast. Comfy beds, nice shower, gorgeous decor. This is a fantastic place to stay in La Paz.

The hotel staff was excellent. Cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast was very good. The only thing to be improved is the shower water that did not have enough pressure and not warm enough.

This hotel was like an oasis in the middle of a very sketchy area. I was sad my trip was delayed so I arrived at 10pm and had to leave at 2 am, and wished I had longer to enjoy this hotel. But even arriving so late the receptionist was prompt in answering the door and pleasant to make sure I had everything I needed. The water was hot and the bed was comfortable.

Well looked after and authentically decorated. Staff are extremely helpful. We had a 6am departure, so we asked for a taxi and they offered to open the restaurant with continental breakfast at 5:30 - we didn’t even ask!that’s customer service. Would stay here again. PS - if you don’t like the buzz and markets in the heart of old town, then you should skip this place. On the other hand it is close to many attractions.

We loved this place. Right in the heart of bustling, crazy La Paz. A gentle, peaceful respite after a day of chaos on the streets. The staff are amazingly helpful, well informed and patient.

Perfect location and very nice hotel. What makes it a total standout is the phenomenal front desk staff and travel counter - they can help plan your activities and make travel arrangements for La Paz and anywhere else in Bolivia. Ingrid, the front desk manager, is solid gold.

Excellent location near the cable car, ATM and night market. Helpful staff who will help you to call cab for airport. Room is decent but the water heater can be better. The breakfast is only average with limited selection.

Easy check-in, breakfast ended at 09.30 which was a bit early. Internet was good, comfy bed and hot shower! There was some noise on Saturday night from a street party that didn't end until 1am, which while annoying wasn't the hotels fault. Free tea and water 24 hours a day

Pleasant hotel with colonial architecture in the historical area. Within a walking distance to the Línea Roja and other touristic attractions. It is a noisy area, but if you’re not in the middle of the noise then you’re not in La Paz. The windows do a great job. I didn’t really believe until I opened them. It works very well. Breakfast is great! The fresh tasty baguette bread was a perfect trip after three weeks of basic food.

Strategically located. Staff r all nice and helpful. Rooms are basic and functional. Short walk to all restaurants and there’s atm right beside the hotel! Laundry can be done at very reasonable price!

Great service, located near the wizard market.
Before the trip, the hotel will send you the remind mail including lots of useful information about the exchange rate, how to take the cable car, and the tour information. Great service hotel.

A perfect location for what we wanted to do on La Paz. The hotel was old and beautiful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hotel was able to accommodate us with everything. Taxi service, laundry, restaurants, luggage storage, tea and water and some one always at the front desk. We would stay here again

We stayed here for 4 nights. The room was a little small. There was a portable radiator in the room and it warmed up the room quite well for March mild weather. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent and there are many restaurants and travel agencies nearby.

When we checked in, the staff said that they would provide morning call and arrange taxi for us on the next day such that we can catch our flight on time. He told us the taxi would be 12 bolivian dollars. However, there was no morning call and the staff in the morning did not know that we needed a taxi. Also, the taxi was actually 12 usd. The hotel felt safe and proper in the mid of the chaos in the city.

Fabulous hotel with clean, comfortable room and excellent service. There is not a lot of insulation between rooms. Our room was slightly noisy at times because it was close to the laundry area. We were in room 232. Location is great for the market and teleférico.
