Terrific location, clean and modern property. Room was well-appointed and comfortable. Will stay again.

Location is perfect. Rooms were large and well equipped. We were on the top floor so had great views but they also have an outdoor deck on top floor with comfortable chairs so everyone can enjoy the views. They had a Zen garden - quiet spot to read outdoors, spa, swimming pool, underground garage with very large parking spots. As we were on a long road trip, One amenity we took advantage of was the laundry room - unusual for a hotel of this caliber to have one. It was appreciated. Great access to waterfront and all activities. Farmers Market nearby was excellent. Highly recommend a visit to Halifax and this hotel in particular.

$25 parking excessive.

Great location and service! Enjoyed the waterfront and restaurants. We left for airport and driving in am, slow chargers only available but free a few streets away.

Loved the area

Very clean and comfortable bed and bedding. Would be nice to have a microwave and some water other than the bathroom sink. Could not see the TV fully from the bed. Lack of communication requesting to be checked in a hour early, left sitting in the lobby by reception while multiple others walked up checked in early and were given rooms.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. Just stunning and a perfect location. The people working there were just amazing. Just perfect besides the noise from the building being built across the street. Seriously wonderful.

The location is great but parking is a bit of an issue.

We really enjoyed the hotel. It was clean, the staff were all super. Convienent to everything we wanted to see and do. I was very happy with my choice of hotel and i would definately stay again as well as recommend to friends and family.

The staff was courteous.

Rooms seemed very dated. Booked a courtyard view room and had a room with a construction site view.

Great stay for our honeymoon! Perfect location for walking in the waterfront, many many restaurants to choose from! Breakfast at the bistro in the morning was delish. We picked a balcony room but the balcony was blocked by the hotel sign giving us no view of anything. Still a great stay though!

It was a very quick stay to visit my son who lives in Halifax. My only complaint would be there was no tap option for credit cards. I did not have my physical card on me and could not use my wallet on my phone without tap,option. It’s 2024! This is unacceptable !

Great stay! Was awesome to sit out on the balcony with a drink and watch the hustle of the city and the music from the boardwalk after the kids crawled into bed!

Excellent stay from start to finish. Extremely central to downtown.

Construction right beside hotel-"blasting zone" signs up. Not the hotels fault though, obviously out of thryre control. No housekeeping came in the 4 nights we stayed, despite calling the front desk to say we needed it. Had to put garbage/recycling in hallway and a sign on our door saying "need toilet paper ", lol Fan didn’t work in bathroom, unfortunate for a family of 4, curtains didn't close all the way, should have brought clips. Black mold on underside of soap shelf in shower. Locations couldn't have been better though. Roof top terrace is beautiful and the Shuck house restaurant beside hotel has great seafood.

Friendly staff, nice room, great location…however the construction from 7am to 6pm is very disruptive. The air conditioning is outdated and noisy waking us up often throughout the night. Also, all hotels should have bathroom fans/vents…this one did not.

The location is excellent - close to waterfront - and the breakfasts in the bistro were five star!

We were so disappointed with staying at the Marriott courtyard. The location was great but forget about friendly reception staff unless you happen to see Daniel. We noticed how so many guests arrived and not even a “Welcome” or on our check out “ Hope you enjoyed your stay”. I guess those days no longer exist? Everyone’s entry keys supposedly were demagnetized on the morning we were checking out. We were locked out of our room & couldn’t get in to get our luggage. We asked why the guests were not informed. Honestly I don’t think I will bother to stay with the courtyards again. I stayed in Baddeck at a lovely inn & you should see the toiletries given. The welcome greeting, and this is a small family spot compared to a large family spot!! Every morning we were blasted out of our sleep by the jackhammer outside our window. I know that’s not Marriott’s fault but show some compensation & friendliness!!! Very disappointing

Staff don’t clean the rooms each day. So no new towels or toilet paper. Annoying

The staff were very friendly, the hotel was nice and quiet and the location was fantastic.

We enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

Close to everything. Excellent restaurants nearby. Hotel bistro serves excellent food.
