A good place for visiting the city. The reception was very friendly and breakfast wad good, they served real cappucino 👌

We have stopped in Verona for one night, to assist opera concert at Arena We have decided for hotel boutique for 2 reasons, they offer parking space (as available in Hotels) and the high rating from other travelers The same 2 reasons were quite disappointing for us. Just 5 min after confirming the reservation, we received a call from hotel telling us there was no parking availability and gave us some hints to park in the street or a private garage. Regarding the rating of the hotel, we have booked a superior room (a kind of apartment at ground level, including access to the patio, having a living room, bedroom and bathroom. The overall condition of the apartment looks quite out of maintenance, starting with the air conditioning that required a filter cleaning which was performed by the front desk person in an Expedited way. Breakfast was good and location is not at old town but still at walkable distance to the arena Bottom line, our first time staying in a hotel rated 9.0 by travelers and not feeling the same

Hotel with character. Centrally located, easily walkable to central parts, 10 min walk to the Arena. Relatively small rooms. Clean. Breakfast OK but not more.

Hotel Scalzi is a beautiful hotel. Our room (and the whole hotel) was very clean and comfortable. All the staff we met were very friendly. Breakfast was good and on a nice day you can sit outside in the courtyard. The only issue was the wall adjoining the next room was quite thin and we were woken up when they came in (we could hear their conversation and TV).

The hotel is within walking distance of the train station and also right on the edge of the old town so very convenient. Situated on the ground and first floor of an old palace it is a beautiful building, very authentic. Breakfast was continental, with plenty of choice. Very good and I would stay there again.

All great. Nice Hotel close to old city and all Attractions easy on foot 5 min away. Supermarket closeby too. Breakfast is a bit small but good quality. Staff very friendly and we were lucky to get one of the very nice garden rooms. Thank you!

This place is unique and beautiful. Our room was large and everything worked . the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff spoke eccellent English anf was very helpful

Nice hotel with good location close to the city center. The staff was very nice and helpful and the breakfast good! The bed however were extremely uncomfortable (very hard) and made it difficult for us to sleep during our stay. Would book the hotel again if they replaced the beds.

Great hotel, lovely rooms and awesome staff. I cant say enough good things about this hotel. Just lovely comes to mind. Breakfast could be a little better, but still great I have dubbed this city. The city that welcomes the light. I will say Verona is like no city I have ever seen so beautiful in Italy.

We were ‘upgraded’ to the apartment next door when we arrived .. however, I think all this really meant is that we had an extra room with a sofa and wardrobe in it ! It then felt a bit disconnected from the hotel and I think some of the apartments in the block are actually peoples homes ! So it felt like we had booked an apartment not a boutique hotel ! I am not sure this was exactly what I was looking for when booking it ! However, that being said, it was clean, shower great etc and breakfast was the standard for an Italian b&b. Good location, 10 mins walk from train & bus to hotel or 10 mins in other direction takes you right in to Verona. All in all a good place to stay for 3 days.

Hotel looks quite Looked tired in places, breakfast limited and being cleared away before 10am. Staff were very helpful for check in, advice etc Good location, just away from the centre. Worked for us for the price.

Good location in an historic building, good price, and good breakfast. The rooms are not as grand as the promotions would lead you to believe but are good for the price and if you expect more you should pay more. The shower worked well and all towels and bedding were clean and in order.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and staff were really friendly and helpful.The room had air con which was a good send in the very high temps that we had while we were there.Hotel is ten mins walking to station and local buses and ten mins to central area.

A romantic break, but didn't fall in love with hotel. The superior room was on the first floor overlooking the main road, so lots of car noise.The room itself was very large with an upstairs, it felt very spacious but the whole room was very, very dull. Not much natural light, and not enough lights (or bright lights) in the room. There was also only one full length mirror. Strangely this was behind a towel radiator in the bathroom (yes behind the rad). The double bed was 2 singles pushed together. Breakfast was nice, not a great selection but ok. Overall a lovely trip in Verona, but we will not go back to that hotel. The reception area used in the main pic is the best part. T & D

Good location - about 5-10 minutes walk into the center of town but still shops/restaurants very close to the hotel and a bus stop at the end of the road. Friendly staff, clean hotel room.
