Stay here only if you’re desperate to be close to campus. It’s dirty, it’s crazy loud, every hallway smells and the hallways are not air conditioned. We are in Arizona! Room air conditioner kept room cool but didn’t remove any humidity had them service it and the maintenance sucks at this hotel. It was not fixed and super loud. Had to ask for a fridge, no coffeemakers in room, it was a weird and inconvenient set up if you wanted the free coffee. Toaster and microwave are next to coffee in a weird spot next to where people eat for their horrible restaurant and bar. Ate there once and it was gross food. The drinks were terrible too for the ridiculous price tag. Also for the love of god MOVE the luggage carts to the front of the hotel it’s crazy how far back they’re placed for families just trying to get their luggage to and from the car. Parking is 15$ daily and unnecessary to charge for your crappy lot.

Nice that’s it’s near ASU. Everything else is very mediocre. The gym is useless

Moxy is a great place to stay. The bed was super comfortable. The elevator was a bit shaky.

The bar/hotel lobby are combined. You need to wait for the staff to check you in while they're serving drinks. Hotel feels like it's run by uncaring college students without a manager on site. Homeless family was at the pool for 12 hours when it was 105 outside, staff didn't do anything. Halls and elevator smell and are not air-conditioned. I stepped on a dead cockroach in my room when I woke up in the morning. Bizarre room doors with frosted windows and shades that let sound in from hallway and look like they could be easily broken. I was told no one would enter my room to change towels, etc... I also had my shade drawn to indicate no service, but they came in anyway while I was away. Location is close to campus, but no restaurants around other then fast food and homeless people sleeping on sidewalks. I preferred staying at the Omni or at least in that area. It's busier, but more to do.

Friendly stuff, I’d stay for 3 nights and my very first night I found a creature walking around in my bed, I call FD and he apologized and he change me to another room, after that I was a little uncomfortable waiting to see another creature. Did not slept or relaxed so well.

I stay there every time I go to see my Daughter at ASU

A sliding door in my shower room seemed to be broken but overall best! I had nice access to CVS and other supermarkets, so much comfortable with its cleanness.

I enjoyed my stay at The Moxie. It was minimal like dorm life.

Everyone was so nice and helpful, very aesthetic place to stay, room was clean and cute, will stay again!

Moxy was fine for being at the lower price end of highly rated accommodations. Staff and service was by far the best part of the stay. Room was quiet and comfortable but the hotel condition is showing several years of wear and tear. The room itself had no major issues but would greatly benefit from a deep cleaning.

Rooms and hallways leading to rooms need a good cleaning but the staff are amazing and attentive!!

Nothing was wrong with front desk! The only thing I had a problem was that the toilet had a stain and there was no bag in the trash can. Tooth paste in the sink.

Definite a unique experience! The lobby was photo-worthy and aesthetic; and the inclusion of pinball, arcade machines, billiards, foosball, chess, and checkers was fun. The free cocktail (voucher) at check-in was a nice touch. The rooms were spacious and well climate-controlled; if a touch unique. The location is near downtown Tempe, near ASU and all the expected college-town goodies: restaurants, bars, pubs, coffee, and brunch places. Definitely an experience you'll talk about!

Absolutely loved our stay !! We couldn’t get the water in the shower to cool down it was scorching hot but the hotel accommodated us immediately with another room . The service was great . The experience was amazing very unlike any regular hotel . We look forward to coming back .

My was injured while traveling for work and I flew out to help him. The staff at Moxy was amazing. They were extremely accommodating and helped us find the perfect room so he could easily get in and out of the building - gave extra pillows and towels to prop his leg.
