Angie is a fantastic host nothing to much trouble cooked breakfast a dream choose what you want so not a lot of waste 😀

Hotel ok not suitable for disabled as no lift we were put on first floor had two flights of stairs which we found difficult. Parking none existent as had to search streets around for anywhere to park.

A friendly welcome. Clean comfortable room with a fridge (nice touch). Breakfast times were limited, which was a bit restrictive but maybe that was just us. Parking is on street and of three nights we only got to park on the street once, the other two were on nearby streets. Good location with a great pub at end of road that did really good food at great prices. Tram stop within a 5 minute walk. Good cooked breakfast.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Golden Sands. Angie was a very excellent host and the breakfast was fabulous.

When we got there we were told breakfast wasn’t included but I had checked with hotels.com when I booked it, that it was & the owners wanted £5 per breakfast from us. I phoned hotels.com immediately & spoke to 2 people there who confirmed a free breakfast was provided. I put hotels.com onto the owners twice to discuss but each time, the owners told hotels.com that it was not included. In the end hotels.com agreed to refund us the money subject to sending them the receipt. The visit did not start well & made me feel awkward. The mirror in the bathroom was too high for me, I could only see the upper part of my face in it (I am 5 ft 2 in). Where you hang your clothes was also too high for me. I could just about reach it on tip toe. The heating was on really early in the morning but went off at 8am so it felt cold. The owner said she would adjust it but don’t think it was changed as it was cold in the morning. There was no heating in the bathroom. She gave us a small heater but that didn’t work.

BAD attitude from the owner. She made us wait over an hour outside before checking in and we had to find somewhere for a toilet and when I finally got though to her she told me it's bed time and i wasnt getting in. I paid in full to then have to stay on the street! TERRIBLE SERVICE! DO NOT STAY HERE!!

The proprietress was kind enough to contact me on my arrival date to check my time of arrival, before going out. She also made me an earlier than usual breakfast on my day of departure.

Had the loveliest stay at the golden sands last week for my boyfriend's birthday. Breakfast was delicious and Angie couldn't make us feel any more welcome than she did. Will definitely be rebooking for next year! :)

First time we've stayed here- Warm welcome, friendly owners, and found the double room modern and very clean. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of items. Our dog agrees with us too. One criticism (not the fault of the owners!)- Parking on the road outside the Guest House can be difficult. We found plenty of spaces that were 200m from the premises, however, if you are travelling by car, my advice is to try and check-in and park your car before 4pm, as after that time, on-street parking outside the Guest House is chock-a-block with other resident's cars, as they return from their work. Really impressed with this Guest House- for the price we paid, we WILL be back. 5 Stars !

Lovely stay, great breakfast, great location close to the beach and just a bus or tram ride into the town, Blackpool Tower just 5 mins on the tram.

Staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was really nice and served very quickly.

my partner and I stayed here for 3 day during an elvis competition that was held at the Hilton hotel.The golden sands is a lovely b&b the room was very clean the full English breakfast was lovely.The lady who runs the place was very nice and welcoming.we will stay there again sometime.very pleased :)

the golden sands is a wonderful guest house very warm and friendly service and our room was very clean and comfy and breakfast was lovely as well we would definately go back there.
