Good overall, my room had no plug in for my phone to charge. The tea kettle was broken, so I couldn’t make tea in the evening and morning.
The place looked run down overall. I liked their massage service and gym!

Terrible experience, unhelpful staff who lied and made up stories, hotel changed my reservation without ever telling me, management refused to refund my booking, messed up my whole trip. Breakfast was subpar, shower had only one temperature (scalding hot) while tap only had freezing cold water. Room smelled, glass shower tray was broken and dangerous. Wifi is poor and kept failing, every time it took 30 minutes to fix. Room was incredibly noisy, walls were paper thin, noise from street and generator incredibly loud. There are much better hotels at same price range close by and going forward will always stay in those.

I quarantined in this hotel and found it to be well-run and well organized. The dining room, gym and lounge are all acceptable, the hotel is partnered with the Hadero coffee chain (= great coffee), there is jazz every Thursday evening, and the staff members were always friendly, polite and attentive. They also took pandemic precautions seriously. Although we were not always able to communicate, an effective workaround was always found. The Jupiter offers one of the best combinations of price and quality in the city, and I plan to stay again when I return to Addis. You should too.

We arrived about midnight due to a delayed flight but the hotel still had staff at the airport to arrange free shuttle. Front desk staff was very helpful as well.

Transport from and to the airport was included and well organized. The facilities were clean and staff very friendly and helpful. I just wish I had a room with a proper window to the outside, and not looking onto an internal staircase.

Pick up at airport was great. Great check in. The manager gave us as a little pack of local coffee grain as a wecolme gift. We ordered dinner and it was tasty. Paid about $15 for two very good meals (excludes starter, dessert or drinks). As most things here the property is not new but is well kept so would recommend for short stays.

This superbly managed hotel is a pleasure to stay in. The Jupiter International Hotels may not have a big name, but they provide better services, facilities, and meals that most of the "name brand" international hotels. The staff and restaurant at this hotel are excellent, and the place is a real "hidden treasure" in Addis.

Good hotel with decent food. Stick to the Ethiopian part of the menu for the best grub... when in rome and all that. Always a good place to stay. Ive stayed in others in Addis but I think Jupiter is probably the best ive stayed. The location is also spot on - nice and quiet when in your room but still nice and central in town. There is a shisha bar round the corner which is perfect for me after a flight. Oh, and the internet is decent, and free!
Tip: Choose a room not on the 4th floor. You'll get a better/ more modern bathroom!
