Das Falkenstein is on the outskirts of Kaprun, so it would be most helpful to have a car, which I did. It's a traditional Austrian hotel with that style of decor. Everything was super clean, my single room was very comfortable, the WiFi was great, and the breakfast was plentiful (even fresh watermelon), farm fresh eggs (their own chickens, which I "visited" out back!). Free parking right out front with more across the street, where the scenic river rushed by. Staff was very nice and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Nice hotel close to Kitzsteinhorn and Gipfelwelt 3000 but also Zell Am See. Very friendly staff. Bonus that we got summercards in the price so a lot og activities around Kaprun was free, for example the trip up to Gipfelwelt.

We have stayed in this Hotel, the room old especially the Bathroom.
The hotel staff did not clean our room for 4 days. We made a complain and the answer was that the will do there ultimate best to solve it for the next day. The next day the same situation, Bath ropes and toilet paper were put in front of the hotel room door. So the next day I made a complain again.
The answer from the hotel owner (She) at the reception desk was. very loud and angry : " yes I know but I am not going to say anything about this ,because the girl who needed to clean the room speaks another language and I do not understand here so that s it!!"
Needless to say that with this answer from her, the hotel owner I was speak less.
It is to bad that she the react like this, because the location and restaurant are fine. But with this attitude you can not run a business.

Very good service and a lot of food choices for dietary restrictions, too. If the room had air conditioning, comfort would have got top marks as well. Would definitely recommend!

The restaurant was good, but the service even better. It's a small town nearby and this hotel is centrally located between two small towns. The only thing I would say is offer a fan for the rooms because at night it got pretty hot and leaving windows open brings in bugs.

I enjoy my stay in the hotel they give us summer card which can be use in the activity in kaprun and zell am see.The wifi was good but in the night there will be no service and swimming pool closed at 7 PM
