Very bad experience in my life

We arrived at 1:30 AM at Delhi and attempted to find our prebooked transfer to the hotel. There was nobody at the airport. The hotel didn't send anyone until we called them so we ended up waiting 1-1/2 hours. The hotel said that they had sent someone but that was not true. Another couple that we were touring with arrived the next day and the same thing happened to them. They paid for a transfer but nobody came. Their situation was worse. A cab driver supposedly made a call fo to the hotel and told them that the hotel said that they should pay him directly to drive them to the hotel and then the hotel would reimburse them for the cab. It turned out to be a fake call and they paid far more than they should have. The hotel would not reimburse them for the cab or for the prebooking fee. They should have sent a cab to meet us and they should have made an effort to compensate our friends.

The dining hall was rented out for a party on both days of my stay, and hence we had to have our food in our room on one day and on the next day we had to go out and this caused a lot of inconvenience.

We arranged for a pick up from this hotel .no one came. Did the same thing for my sister. They would not pay for our taxi. Poor service. Rooms are moldy in the bathroom.

Positives: one stop shop for all your trip plans, i.e.they are willing and able to arrange everything. Most of the staff members are good. Negatives: airport pickup very expensive despite a being advertised as part of the booking, not a friendly neighbourhood, very small rooms, not very attentive to requests and yet it was almost $100/night (that too was said to be a discounted rate)

hotel is very clean. Quality of the hotel was really close to 4-5 star. Rooms were very comfortable. The hotel is equipped with latest technology. Staff go out of the way to keep the customer happy. I wish there would have been more options for breakfast.

Its one of the best budget hotels I have stayed in awhile. Rooms are very clean with all the amenities inplace, as described on the website. Breakfast buffet is good too. Located quite close to the Delhi metro (5 mins walking distance). Highly recommend!

Room is clean.Toothpaste,tooth brush,shower cap and a comb included.No hairdryer,no safe.Towels without any stains.Daily room cleaning+change of towels.Local newspaper in English every morning. Got the room without windows:no street noise at all.But the room has a single door and it's not very soundproof so you can hear every talk in the corridor.So if your room is near the elevator(like mine)in the evening and in the morning it's quite noisy. Electrical sockets aren’t fully compatible with European and Russian plugs(don’t hold securely). Every day need to recharge room's electronic key on reception. Water is hot enough except late in the evening.But I like a VERY hot water.So for the ordinary man it will be OK. Wi-fi credentials should be renewed every 5 h.But the procedure is simple:call to the reception and they instantly send you a guy with printed credentials.Internet works smoothly,without any problems. Breakfasts were not very diverse.Half of the courses are Indian(but not very spicy even for a European).Definitely there is enough food not to become hungry until lunch(boiled eggs,omelette,fresh fruits,peas,milk).Additionally you can order whatever you like from the menu.Staff is very accommodating. You can order food to the room 24h. Fast¬ very expensive.Menu includes~10 continental and 10 Indian courses). Surrounding area doesn’t look scary even in the evening(at last until metro is working).Hotel is placed on the map correctly

room clean and well kept, sheets were clean but had a permanent stain on them and a hole. Service was excellent, restaurant food was delicious, bathroom and room very clean. Good location very close to the metro.

Basic budget hotel with satisfactory ameneties. Very small rooms with no windows.

Stay was good. It was value for money. Breakfast was good but can be improved by adding a few Indian spicy dishes. Internet was an issue and we could not connect from our room, had to go to corridor to use internet. Overall was very comfortable and hotel staff was friendly and guided us well. Hotel was at a 3 minutes from metro station and could be easily located

I stayed at Almondz for 10 nights with my adult daughter in November 2012 in executive room and would recommend it to anyone who wants great value for money and service. I booked the room on Expedia after spending hours reviewing various hotels and was so relieved and happy with the choice i made.The location is quiet and clean by Delhi standards and tuk tuks easily available.The staff are fantastic and always helpful ,we were lucky enough to be there for Diwali festival and they let us on the roof to watch the fireworks.Modern and clean western style hotel with excellent food in the restaurant. You can get a lot cheaper hotels but that's exactly what you ll get. Wherever you stay in Delhi I would strongly recommend an airport pickup ,its well worth the (extra)money.

the hotel is very centrally located, it is very neat and tidy, the rooms are a bit small but very well kept. the staff is very pleasing and the food is good here as well. for the price you pay, this is a good hotel to stay.

The hotel is brand new, modern and extremely clean and the staff was great. I wouldnt know about the location, we got to Delhi very late at night and the hotel was really difficult to find, After midnight they will close down certain streets and the taxi driver could not find a way to get through the hotel street. We rented a cab and spent the only day at Delhi sightseeing. The hotel is not really close to anything. The area is as any other area in Delhi. I would stay in Connaught Place, the only decent place in this city.

Fantastic hotel one of the best my wife and I have ever stayed in no matter where we have been to in the world. I cannot recommend them highly enough. However stay away from Holiday India tours as they are cheating people all over who use the net to book trips to India which they did to my wife and I.
