The property was great up on the hill with a fantastic view down the coast to the other villages. Room was spacious and clean and staff were always helpful. Nice breakfast as well to start the day. Shuttle service was reliable and appreciated because the walk is a tough one up hill. Great location, would definately stay again.

The hotel is very nice and the views from our balcony were unbelievable!! The hotel breakfast was delicious and the hotel shuttle was very efficient and helpful! The only complaint I have is that the bed was very hard. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Beautiful location, great breakfast, extremely clean and well kept

Lovely hotel perched up high on a hill overlooking Monterosso- in fact, one can see all 5 towns of Cinque Terre from the hotel grounds. Clean, comfortable, good-sized room; if available, book a room with a balcony for a fantastic view. Shuttle van to & from hotel into Monterosso was very much appreciated as walking up or down the hill would be difficult. Breakfast was excellent with many choices to suit all tastes (8-10 am). Staff were efficient but not overly friendly, which was fine. Nice areas outside to sit or lounge any time of the day.

The staff was very nice its a nice quiet getaway hotel… the shuttle service was prompt and reliable the breakfast was absolutely delicious and there was lots!! Air conditioning was a bit weak and controlled by the front desk -we were there in a heat wave so a bit frustrating … otherwise we had a great stay thank you

The best hotell in Cinque terre. Fantastic Hotell with a marvelous view and fantastic service. The breakfast was very nice with a lot of homemade goodie’s. I will return to this hotel.

My fiancée and I really enjoyed our recent stay. The location provides a stunning view of all 5 Cinque Terra hotels which makes up for the slightly further distance to the main town (although the free hotel shuttle makes that more than manageable). We eventually stayed in 3 rooms here, moving from our originally booked, non-sea view rooms to two sea view rooms which later became available. All had their charms. The staff here (seemingly all female) were friendly, helpful and flexible. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

An excellent property with gorgeous views. The staff was professional and friendly. Having the frequent taxis available to go into town was a huge plus—a short trip but a hair-raising road the drivers handled with ease. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a fab stay - the hotel is located on the top of Monterosso with fantastic views. The rooms have large balconies and modern furnishing. The ladies running the hotel are super accommodating, breakfast is lovely and the shuttle bus is convenient

We had a wonderful time here. We loved our room, the beautiful surroundings, the hotel was very clean which gave us confidence since this was our first major vacation since COVID. We will be returning in the future as this place was magical

Very nice place to stay in if you are in Monterosso, especially if you bring a car. Hotel had a spectacular view and you can see the whole Cinque Terre coastline from your room. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Steep hill down and up was a easy task with the ongoing shuttle service provided for free by the Hotel. We came with two small kids and a stroller, no problem at all. All was very pleasant, the one negative thing is that it lies on the east side of the cliff, so the sun disappears in the afternoon. I will definetley book the same place again if we returen to Monterosso.

Loved the hourly shuttle service so you didn’t have to hike up or down the very steep hill. Friendly helpful staff great view!

Must book! We really enjoyed our stay. It was a remote location outside of the crazy tourist zone and has a beautiful view from the ocean side room. The free shuttle bus was a lifesaver, and a huge shoutout to Roberto as the best driver ever. He would always come back to get you if the bus was full, and if he was early for pick up time he would just drive you to the hotel or to the City Center (about 5 minutes from the train station). The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Our only concern was that the air conditioner didn’t seem to keep up with the heat, but we would have booked knowing this. Monterosso is the best location to stay in Cinque Terre by far. We explored other villages and were always happy to return back to Monterosso.

View is incredible. Frequent shuttle from mountain top to town. Many dining options and dining in town. Nice clean room with bacony overlooking mountains and sea.

Extremely rude and unfriendly

The hotel has probably the best position and view in all Cinque Terre. The hotel is exceptionally clean, enough parking spaces, very friendly personnel, and an excellent breakfast. A shuttle runs for free from the hotel to the village below every 25-30min. There are onky two things I want to mention. Although they have satellite TV, there were about 5 channels available (and that with almost no clouds). On the other hand, if you go to Cinque Terre to watch TV, you waste your time and money. The second thing to mention was the so-called hair drier, a crossbreed between a vacuum cleaner and a WWII era gas mask (see picture), inconvenient and almost impossible to use. For the price they charge for the rooms, I think the management can invest 20$ in some modern hair driers. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody that wants an extraordinary experience.

Nice hotel on top of a hill with great view. But to get on top of the hill they have a shuttle. You are stuck until this shuttle comes at certain times and picks you up to go to town or get back to hotel. The route is EXTREMELY SCARY. There is only one road up and down with cars going both ways with one side of the road being the cliff!

The hotel was better than expected but still expensive. The views from the hotel over Cinque Terre is just amazing, the biggest downside to the hotel is how far from the centrum it is and that it does not have a restaurant. The rooms and the outside have been nicely refurbished. But the breakfast hall needs some overhaul. The breakfast was ok, nothing more than that.

The hotel is very nice. They have a shuttle that takes you down to the main area of town and it leaves every hour or so. We were very happy with our stay. We got a beautiful balcony that had an amazing view of the water. The service was great from everyone except for one person who was very rude and harsh. They also have beach towels that you can check out and reuse while youre there. City tax is only 1.50 euros per person per day, but be prepared for that. The breakfast was good, but more focused on pastries so it was a little too light for me. Overall, I would recommend.
