It was my second visit, and the location was convenient for sightseeing. One of the elevators was out of order, so it was under repair, and it was inconvenient. The room is rather dark and the towel has been used for too long, so it's old.

It is very close to insadong. About 15 mins to chung gye cheon, palace.

It was nice and convenient to take public transportation from the hotel. And it was very close to main street of In-sa dong so we could walk around there right after we checked out from the hotel. There was a cafe in the corner of the hotel lobby, was easy to grab a small bite in the morning as well. It was overall a pleasure staying here.

Our second time at The Sunbee did not disappoint. Professional, clean, and well-appointed in the middle of Insadong.

Perfect location for sightseeing and eating out.

From check-in to check-out, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. When naver and kakaomap failed us twice, we asked directions somewhere and they printed a map and offered to arrange a taxi. They arranged our airport van at the end of our 10 day stay. The location is excellent, in a relatively quiet corner, near a station and we enjoyed staying in Insadong. The room was very quiet and clean and amenities worked well. There are 4 of us, and we had sufficient room to sit together and enjoy late night meals and sometimes watch TV. It was a nice place to return to after fun and busy days. Sunbee Hotel added to our enjoyable vacation.

Great property, close to lots of site and excellent service.

It’s a small boutique hotel tucked in behind the Insadong area. It was quiet, concierge was nice and helpful, they had a cute terrace/patio on the first floor where you can hang out and eat. The room itself was a bit dated and old but it was spacious and had the amenities you needed. We thought the location was great! There’s a Nice to CU convenience store 2 mins away, the Ssamzigil art alley is 4 mins away, subway is 6-7 mins away, and there are some good food places all walking distance!

Our stay was quite a pleasant one! We stayed at this charming boutique hotel for a 3 day weekend. The staff at Sunbee Hotel were very welcoming upon check in. They provided us with a list of restaurants around the area, and they were able to accommodate our requests. In addition to that, our room was nice and clean and bigger than we had expected. The hotel is conveniently located near a supermarket and convenience stores. Sunbee Hotel is also about a 5 - 7 minute walking distance to a few subway stations. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

The location of this hotel was perfect for our trip. Very short walks to nearly everything we wanted to see, the palaces, shopping and food. The staff were very accommodating and spoke english well. The room was comfortable and quite large. It easily slept our family of 4 with the kids on a more traditional bed on the floor. I would definitely stay here again when i vist Seoul.

I stayed Korean style room with my daughter and parents. It was like a Japanese style(taking off shoes before entering the room) so comfortable for us. Also the bath tub was perfect. Front staff was so supportive. When I left my credit card at a store, he kindly called there and it was returned me safely. I will go back the hotel next visit in Seoul!

I loved the location and how quiet it was at night. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! It’s also very close to many attractions and great shopping on Isadong Street!

First of all the staff at the front desk were amazing. So nice and helpful and checked us in early for no fee. The hotel caters to tourists but still traditional. The gem is the free laundry machines and daily Tooth brushes and toothpaste as well as water. Great location to the streets, shops and food. Great price for the best stay in insadong. Pleasantly surprised!

Had a pleasant stay at Sunbee. The staff was very friendly, helpful and spoke great English. Although the hotel didn’t have much amenities (kids pool, spa, etc) it was near a street with many food options and shopping. But the purpose of our visit was to visit the embassy so the lack of amenities didn’t bother us. It was an easy walk to the embassy and Gyeongbokgung Palace from Sunbee. We walked there with our 2 young children. Loved that the hotel had a laundry facility and it was free and detergent was provided. You can also borrow strollers if traveling with young children like us! Would stay here again if planning to visit the surrounding area. Thank you Sunbee Hotel!

My son and I really enjoyed our stay at the cozy Sunbee Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful during our week stay. We especially liked the warm flooring, laundry facility, and quiet area that is fairly close to 3 different station lines. We look forward to coming again when we visit Seoul.

You have to walk through what looks like back alleys to get to this gem. You should walk through the back alleys of this area, we found the best food and drink away from the busy streets! We had some complications with other parts of out trip and had to make changes to our booking twice. The staff was understanding and accommodating. The hotel was very clean and modern.

Very quiet sleep like baby, and on our 25 days leaving of backpack 7 different hotels it’s very nice walk in to place has washing machine and dryer.

First time in Seoul. This small hotel is tucked in a narrow corner, but it is right next to the main walking street for Insadong. The guy at the desk spoke great english and gave me a map of the neighborhood with recommended restaurants. I ate at a few of them and they were great. I was able to walk to both temples, and the village and myeongdong. There are 3 different subway stations that are all about 5-10 min walk away that can get you to other parts of Seoul like the markets and Gangnam. I had a free coffee in the cafe every morning and they have a free laundry in the basement which I used. The room was pretty big and the bathroom was big too. No shower curtain, which I guess is normal in Korea. I got a taxi to Gimpo at 5am and it was no problem and took about 30 min. Two free bottles of water in the fridge every day was very nice. Everyone recommends to stay in Myeongdong for a first timer, but I am really glad I stayed here in Insadong. It's closer to the tourist sites and less hectic and less commercial.

Sunbee was a great choice, loved the place and the property, staff were very nice and accommodating. The room and bathroom itself was beautiful. As two mid-twenty friends, we loved our stay here, even wish we stayed at Sunbee when we returned to Seoul. The room was spacious (king bed), lots of closet space and ground floor for storing the bags. The washroom was breathtaking after having stayed in questionable hotels and hostels previously. It is a wet bathroom in case you’re wondering. Quite safe with two doors to get into the room itself, and we were able to walk around the area at night though I’d advise of course always pairing up as you would with any city. The hotel is located close to both bus stops and subway stations and very close to Insadong st, Ikseondong (great for souvenirs and cafes), as well as the bigger attractions like Gyeongbokgung palace and others. Would highly highly recommend anyone to stay here - whether you’re younger friends/family, family with kids, or older adults. The hotel is quiet with no noisy distractions in the area.
