Beautiful hotel with a lot of character.
The bed had a mattress topper which was uncomfortable as I have back problems.
Otherwise we very thing was perfect

Six minute walk from the train station. The hotel is beautiful inside and outside. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great location as everything is walking distance and public transportation is right outside.

Wonderful location! Loved the decorated Christmas tree in the reception area. The staff had a warm welcome for us when we arrived and assisted us in making dinner reservations. We enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine and a light snack before walking about the town in the early evening. There are nice little extras such as a lovely reception/sitting area in the main lobby with tea and coffee, sparkling water, and a great selection of little mints/pieces of candy. The room had a slight musty smell when we walked in but we opened the windows to get some fresh air. After taking a shower, there was quite a bit of water that leaked out due to the shower door not closing all the way. I reported it when we checked out and the staff was appreciative. The bed was a bit too firm for our taste but comfortable nonetheless. I would definitely stay here if I ever go to Wurzburg again.

We stayed here to do the Christmas markets with my family and stayed in the family room. The hotel is in a perfect location. I will say the family room is hard to get to and you have to climb steps. Wish I would’ve known that in Hotels.com had that in the description. That being said, the family room was large and accommodating. Our only issue is it was very loud outside at night. It would’ve been nice to have earplugs or maybe a sound machine. But for where we wanted to be, it was the perfect location! Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were extremely caring and good . We also really enjoyed the restaurant across the street the restaurant Julienspietal!

This place is fantastic! Great location, super nice host, convenient to walk everywhere you need, and close to lots of shops and places to eat. The only thing I would warn is that the shower was very small compared to what we are used to - but it was ok for a couple days.

Staff is friendly enough and there is parking 2 blocks away. But the building is older and needs updating. Exhaust fan in bath and several of the lights did not work. Beds and bedding not the best. Outside bar scene is very noisy until we’ll after midnight.

Close to town centre . Quite easy to find . Choose hotel as they advertised a personal approach, couldn’t say that happened with us. Lady at check in very short with us, not friendly at all. ! Perhaps because we weren’t German.

This hotel was horrible to travel to. It was in a high traffic pedestrian area and very difficult to find somewhere to park and unload. This inside was not much better. It was dark going to our room. The plus is that it was in walking distance to the Christmas Market.

Very efficient check in and I was shown to my room. The room was delightful and the decor made it quite special and unique. The hotel was just outside the walls of Rothenburg and only a short walk into the town centre. It was also within 10 minutes walking distance of the railway station.

Very good hotel in the city center. Bed could possibly have been a bit more comfortable, and it was possible to hear people talk/ move around in other rooms/ in the hallways, but not to the point that it affected sleep. No noise from the surrounding area. Friendly staff, and good to have a ventilator in the room 😊 Overall, a pleasant stay.

What a great location! Right in the center of everything, and only a block from the rail station. But the drawback is the noise from buses, trams, and lots of people right outside the window -- and also in the next room. This old hotel is in pretty good condition, the staff was excellent, but the walls are paper thin. We heard every word, cough, and TV sound from next door. Also, we slept rather poorly due to a not so great bed. But, location, location, location.

Central location with friendly staff. Room was clean and complimentary coffee and bedroom slippers were provided. Parking is offsite and discounted (8 euro a day). It’s winter time so we don’t hear the street noise of people hanging or dining out. Was a pleasant stay for us.

The staff was very nice, particularly the front desk staff. I was VERY impressed that they offered a welcome drink (glass of local wine), light snack (peanuts), and a large bottle of water included in the hotel price. Very rare these days.
Overall, wonderful location, clean, and had a bit of character - especially the lobby. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
