They are beyond everyone else. Right from the greeting when I arrive; “Hello Jacob, welcome back” to the personalised note in the room and so on. Brilliant, just brilliant

Always personal and forthcoming welcome. Room are spacious and nice. Bed is good and the many possibilities to have dinner is great. Breakfast and coffee are top notch and I always leave with a feeling of being well rested. King and Queen are in the top 5 in NZ

Kings & Queens is probably the best local hotel in NZ. Really nice spacious rooms, good parking, good shower (bit low on wall) and very good selection of food in their food court and cafes. The coffee roaster cafe is extraordinary good - super coffee, fresh delicious toasts and nice granola.

This is a quirky little property and the staff make it amazing. Every single staff member we met was friendly, happy and helpful.
The property was very clean and the extra little thoughtful touches made our stay fantastic.

I suspect there wasn’t a room upgrade available. The hotel paid for our breakfast at the cafe across the road on our 2nd morning, as our Expedia Gold perk (instead of a bottle of wine). This is far more than we would have expected. We’ve stayed at this hotel twice and it is fantastic, with beautiful rooms and great service. It’s the only place we would stay at in New Plymouth now. Best hotel in the city.

Front desk staff were fantastic. Explained the property and parking and went over dining options in detail. Plenty of great bars and restaurants within easy walking distance (Snug Lounge is a must try). Very clean and quiet hotel - would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Kings & Queens Hotel, the staff were so friendly and accommodating and the room and facilities were so well considered and well maintained. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend a trip to their lovely bar 'Itch Wine Bar' and a pizza from Mrs Whites. Amazing!

My husband and I had a 'staycation' at King and Queen and had an exceptional stay. The person who checked us in could not have been lovlier. Such a stylish hotel that has real personality and the 'extra' bits like multiple vouchers for food and drink in the eateries nearby and the lolly dispenser make sure that its not an ordinary stay. Would recommend to anyone coming to our beautiful city. More than just a hotel, thanks so much!

It was all good, everything. I loved being there, it’s so clean & refreshing. Everything is comfortable, beds etc.
rainfall & portable showers, & plenty of room. Staff are really helpful & friendly. Can’t find any fault. Loved it.
Stayed in 2 other hotels in NP, they don’t come close in any way.
Also stayed in 2 of the big international chain hotels in Auckland on this trip and the rooms/service not as good.
