The room was so much better than we expected

We payed 254 AUD/night for a very simple accommodation, it was not worth the money.

When we arrived the cabins wère warm and welcoming with the heater and a light on. The staff at reception are friendly and happy to welcome and help you. We have stayed here before and will always come back.

It was a great stay close to the Gordon River cruise terminal and not to far away from the wilderness train terminal.

Check in and check out was so easy. Great location. Close to everything. Would stay again.

The property is old and a bit run down. The wifi was hopeless along with the receptionist who was quite aggressive. I can stay it was really clean. The heater was on 30C but it still seemed cold.

Bed was relatively comfortable. Basic cooking facilities. Photos definitely made it look better than what it was.

Cheap, clean, odd layout that you had to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to the bathroom. Beds were comfy but other furnishings were old and hot plates in the kitchen hardly worked.

The unit we stayed was okay, but The aircon was so noisy, kept us all other kids awake all night, staff were really friendly & helpful though. The bed & mattress runs away when you try to sit on it. Average stay.

We stay stayed for a night definitely wasn't worth the money. Slept better in the rooftop tent. The blankets were dirty and had hair among other things on them. There was dirty stinky water in the corner of the bathroom. The cabin was extremely unstable and uneven. It was very cold due to their being a big gap in the door and the heater is located right next to the door and the curtain is a huge fire risk. The bed wasn't even flat the cabin was so uneven I woke up with a migraine from sleeping downhill. Careful in the shower the shower head doesn't stay up properly and will come down and hit you in the head. All in all never again 👍 will be letting other locals and travellers know as well this is not on!!

The cabin was adequate but small. We didn't get a large patio just enough room for one chair. But as there were no vacancies then we probably got the last one available. The bed was super comfortable and so we were well rested for our walks

Set within the bush very close to the Cradle Mountain information centre, this park was a pleasant surprise.

One of the more budget friendly options available. Staff were friendly. Cabin was spacious and comfortable enough for short stay.

Liked everything. We were in the cabin section and it was very nice and quiet. Disappointed that we did not see a platypus in the creek that runs through the park.

Close to wharf - just 15 minutes walk away. Cottages close toether but no noise worries. Very clean, if somewhat dated, inside.

The cabin that was on the Expedia site looked very different to the cabin we were given. The cabin was old and needed some maintenance. It provided all our needs as far as utilities and it was clean. It was described to us as the Tradies Cabin but the list at the Holiday Retreat did not list a cabin of that name. Maybe Expedia should enquire what cabins are available so there is no confusion for other travellers.
