Nice size room, comfortable beds. Good central location. Pool area and bar area in need of some maintenance attention, the roof top bar was not open.

The shower was tepid at best no hot water, only had bath and would be horrible to get in and out of for people with disabilities. rooms were noisy.

Staff not particularly friendly. Breakfast disappointing. Room had seen better days with water damage and the door to the room didn’t close properly.

Really enjoyed our stay at the silk Queen hotel. Hotel arranged driver was at baggage claim as requested and only got better from there. Hotel is clean and the room very comfortable. Good a/c and comfy huge bed. Rooftop pool was refreshing and clean. The bar and restaurant are closed as many are in Vietnam after the virus but there is a delicious buffet breakfast every morning. Being in the old quarter there are good restaurants within a short walking distance (try the Le Essence right across the street) along with shopping. Walking distance to the major attractions in the quarter including the water puppet theater. And a tour operator on site to book your excursions. The staff works hard to make sure you have a great stay. We would stay here again.

This hotel is in a great location, central to the Lake and right in the middle of the Old Quarter. This means as soon as you step outside it’s crazy busy, but easy enough to get around once you learn how to cross the street! The staff were friendly and the rooms large enough. Ours smelled of old cigarettes, but that was the only real issue with it. The only thing I was disappointed in was the pool and the fact the restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner. I specifically selected this hotel because I knew it was going to be hot and we may not want to have to head out every day. The pool is tiny (the photos are somewhat misleading) with no lift access for older people, and with no overhead cover, warm as a bath. Overall tho, this is a good hotel at a good price for the area. Lucas on the front desk was very helpful at all times.

A decent hotel in good proximity to sights in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Helpful staff with advice on getting around. It’s a busy city- not our thing but the room upgrade was nice. Beware rooms at the back overlook a very noisy alley; I was kept awake with people shouting and dogs barking until 2:30am. Will request a room higher up or in the front next time. Breakfast was okay- decent amount of options but staff need a lesson in appropriate public behaviour. Overall a reliable stay… much better than others we saw for the same price point!

The people at the reception were very kind.The doorman always opened the door for me.The location of the hotel was the best in walking distance, with many restaurants and stalls nearby.I especially recommend yakisoba for breakfast.If you order, they can cook egg and phở"As for the room, they cleaned it up every day, but they never changed the bathrobe."

I don't think they use cleaning solution to clean their rooms and bathrooms. Towels needed to be replaced. Some had brown stains and some were off white color.

Great location to stay in Hanoi, in walkable distance of everything. Staff were really friendly and helpful, arranging an emergency dental appointment for us last minute and allowing us to store luggage there for a night after we checked out.

This is an acceptable bargain venue with a small but welcome pool. Staff was uneven in service and attitude but most seemed to be trying. No one answers the reception phone after early evening. Lost Laundry. Location is convenient to dining, shopping, and Hoan Kiem Lake, but that also means congested.

The room and the bed are big enough. However, there is no carpark for parking motor cars and the hotel cannot offer help or any suggestion for customers to park. In Vietnam, it is very common to ride a motor, so the hotel should provide space for parking or let the customers know where the nearest carpark is!

Had a nice stay. I would probably stay away from the restaurant except for breakfast. I didn't see anybody (true 0 persons) eating there.

On the whole hotel is nice, but when we arrived the hot water to our room didn’t work and it took us chasing them for half an hour to fix it. All they had to do was flick a fuse on the circuit breaker for the boiler. Wasn’t very efficient and then after the water still wasn’t that hot. Hot running water is a basic thing you expect in a hotel like this. On the plus side the staff were nice and the breakfast buffet wasn’t bad.

Overall our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel is in a great location to walk to most places in the old quarter. Our room was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Breakfast was good, with many options and strong coffee. The staff were absolutely lovely and extremely helpful! They even arranged a surprise birthday cake for my partner and delivered it to our room. We would definitely stay again.
