The room was clean and parking was convenient, however, the hours listed for the front desk being open are not true. We stayed on a Saturday night and needed ice, which was at the front office, but everything was locked up tight at midnight even though the description says the front desk is open until 2am. I also don’t think I got the room I booked. It was described as premium with 2 queen beds but it was a room with double beds. I like the area and there are close dining options but it was definitely not worth the price for one night.

The minute I walked into the office, I was greeted by Sonny, the owner, who was smiling and happy. I could tell right away that he is kind and enjoys running the motel, which, is well maintained, with comfy beds and sheets and fluffy towels that have a pleasant clean smell. Not perfumy at all, just fresh and clean. Like the room. The room we had had 2 beds a table, 2 comfy chairs and a good sized mini fridge with a big window letting in a good bit of natural light. While not huge, the room was practical and big enough.
Sarah Glen is a good choice for people who value cleanliness, friendly staff and a well maintained property, all at a fair price.

This is a very nice clean motel. It was about 25 minutes from Saratoga Spring, which was perfect because everything closer to town was super expensive. If I ever go back to Saratoga Springs, I’ll definitely stay here. The motel manager was also very polite and friendly.

I love old time motels and this one reminds me of the ones on route 66 in Tucumcari New Mexico. I wondered why it had such a high rating and found out!! Not only was it clean ne spotless, but the owner made recommendations for dinner and breakfast and we loved the food at both places. Great spot

Bathroom door lock was broken and surprisingly I was charged for extra guest whereas we were only three and I booked a room with two queen beds which refers four occupancy

Just a wonderful stay … looking forward to going back this summer and staying for a few days. A great welcome from the owner who gave us a rundown of the neighborhood - recommended some local restaurants - which we enjoyed. Room was warm and clean with little touches that brought a homey feeling to the room!!

My stay here this time is just as awesome as it was a couple years ago when I stayed while commuting to a job. The staff is so friendly, it is a safe property and quiet. The rooms are very comfortable. They allow you to adjust the fireplace heater to what temp. is comfortable for you. The fridge and microwave are very convenient. They have a nice large stuffed chair and a round table with 2 chairs in my queen bed room. Very cozy decor.

We like staying at small, non-chain motels and this one did not disappoint. It was very clean. We were able to park right outside our door, so brining luggage in and out was very easy. Check in was easy even though we arrived a bit late. The owner was helpful in giving us some tips about where to go to see the leaves in the area - which was the purpose of our trip. Would stay here again.

Glad I read other reviews that gave this property top accolades. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, with a micro and fridge for our convenience. We sat out front in Adirondack chairs and enjoyed the weather. Great spot to enjoy Saratoga and its surroundings.

The staff was very friendly and had great recommendations for restaurants. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only negative is the pillows. They were very flat with nothing to them. I would still recommend this place though.

This motel lives up to its high rating. Room was immaculate and cozy and, although small, offered every amenity. Units are set back far enough from the street to minimize traffic noise. Manager (owner?) was friendly and helpful.

This place is quaint, homey, very clean. It is old but that is part of its charm. We arrived very late at night and the owner/manager was so welcoming. Have never felt that on arriving at a Hilton or Wyndham. Price is great. Highly recommend. Will stay here again.

I ended up staying here by accident because all the hotels in Albany were booked. I’m so happy it turned out that way and I actually ended up staying a couple extra days. Clean safe and cute. I love the vegetable garden in the back. the owner gave great recommendations of food and things to see. I would love to stay here again sometime.

This was a pleasant little road-side motel. Room had been nicely remodeled and was very comfortable and clean. The only down-side for me was the electric heater that was a bit noisy due to the fan, but other than that it was a great little place to spend the night.

We were sold on this place after seeing its magnificent neon sign and reading all its positive reviews. Our room was spacious and spotless. This place is a classic motel with a gracious host and every conceivable modern amenity. Good wifi, widescreen TV, fridge & microwave, modern bathroom with fabulous hot shower, very comfortable beds, extra blankets & pillows, convenient location. Located just south of Glens Falls, there's every manner of shopping and dining nearby. We hated to leave after our 2-night visit and will always stay at this place when we're in the area in the future.

Our stay was lovely. A plastic McDonalds cup had been left in the fridge by whoever stayed there before us and hadn’t been tossed by housekeeping. Other than that the room was clean and presentable. The man who checked us in was very friendly.
