The place was very nice and position is very good. The rooms appeared to be a little less cozy that what I guess from pictures but still ok. I was unlucky with the weather, so I was missing some furniture in the room to put my wet clothes to dry (like coat stand or something like that).

Location is great but the hostel needs to be cleaner.

cheap, central location, loud when windows opened, plastic-bedclothes (too hot in summer), you have to pay 5€ extra for a paddlelock or your luggage is free to get stolen! good wifi/WLAN, good showers (separated, lockable), bedclothes included, no towels, soap, etc., free luggage deposit, toilet in the next floor (stairs)

They have a only two toilets for all guys and were always dirty .Nothing good to say of this place .

so wonderfull. I lovr ghent very much. The hostel is in the heart of old Ghent. If u come to Ghent , you have to stay in this hostel.

It was a great hostel, centrally located and the staff were simply amazing, friendly and helpful.

Great view and great location, but the atmosphere of the whole place was little bit lacking, not really a place for a meeting other people. Definitely to little toilets for a size of the place.

Sooo much better than I expect from an economical Youth Hostel: Great location, accessible by tram and short walk, amazing neighborhood day and night, tranquil yet entertaining, wonderful old hostel building well preserved and maintained, helpful staff, cozy common space, spacious room, comfy bed.. Love it!

Really close to the old town center and staffs were very friendly. Nice breakfast and cozy public space. Good wifi connection, but the room facility was a bit old.

Hostel could not be in a better location. Good breakfast option, fantastic communal kitchen. Supermarket 2 minute walk away. I stayed in a 14 bed dormitory but beds are divided up and in sections meaning you actually have a lot more privacy than in some smaller dorms I've been in. Hostel offers free local walking tours. Laundry was 5 euros (not including drying) which is super expensive in my opinion, but at least there's space to dry clothes in the room to save money with drying.

The location is perfect and the view was spectacular. The staffs wete very helpful.

The most appreciatable thing is the location, my impression in general was very good. The only bad thing about sharing a room with strangers is that sometimes some pleople make too much noise at down (3am-4-am) when you're already resting. 1st night was perfect but the 2nd night, 3 guys were too noise, speaking too loud, lauging, turning on the lights.. they were coming back after party, I guess. But that wasn't considerate for the rest of us.. then, in the morning one of them put the alarm a leave it ringing every 5 minutes for about 30 minutes.. super annoying!! Anyway that wasn't the hostel fault, and especially wih that price.

This hostel was by far my favorite while traveling around Europe! Such an awesome and unique vibe. The staff is very friendly and the view is AMAZING!!! Breakfast is included and they also offer to lock your belongings before/after check in/out. (Make sure to bring a thick lock for the lockers at this hostel or else they wont lock properly) Highly recommend this hostel!!! Walking distance to everything youll want to visit in Gent--- I LOVE this town!

The hostel is awesome, the rooms layout is really good. The location is amazing (a little bit far from train stations), basically it´s in the center closed to all the main attractions. The place is very clean, it has a nice eqquiped kitchen and a bar with a really good beers selection. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The only cons is the 3 nights minimum for booking. But definitely, It´s an excellent place to stay.

Fantastic location and great common area! It was a pity that the lighting of the city was off during the stay.

I am not quite used to the unisex WC and shower room, apart from that everything is perfect. Highly recommend to the budget traveller. Oh did I tell you that you will love the stunning view?

nicest hostel I've stayed in. Great lounge area/kitchen; helpful, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend; will definitely stay again. A nice thing was that there were people of all ages staying, which made a really nice vibe.
