Great location for exploring Madrid. Typical 2-star hotel - no frills and a bit scrappy.

Hotel location and staff is a plus. The price for the rooms was over the top. If those rooms are $100 dollars the night, I do not want to know what a room in a new hotel costs

Wow, so usually when I book a place to say, I tell myself that I can have two of these three criteria - good price, good location, and good comfort (size of room, ac, own bathroom, etc.). Dare I say, this was the real deal and I feel like I got all three! The room is a very good size, with much needed AC. The location of the place is ridiculously at the center (or extremely close) to almost anything you would want to see as a tourist. All the attractions are super close and probably within 15 min walking, if you didn't want to take some sort of transport. The restaurants and cafes near here are also quite good. And, obviously, the price is noticeably cheaper than most of the other hotels in the same area! I would definitely stay here again if I return to Madrid.

The front staff was professional and helpful. We were early and she was accommodating in allowing us to keep our luggage there safely until our check in. The property itself is kind of quirky and a bit off/odd. The bed linen and bathrooms were clean. The decor, wall paper, trimming, wall paint was subpar and not well done. The paint on the ceilings was smudged and sloppy. It’s as though someone went into the rooms in a rush to renovate and did not have much experience. Our shower was also weird - it lacked a.

This was our second visit to this hotel, we like being close to main attractions and easy walkable. Mika in the restaurant remembered us from previous year, she puts a heck of a breakfast buffet and she is very friendly, she gets personality to the hotel. Definitely will here for a short visit.

Amazing hotel and ALL THE SFAFF working here are absolutely wonderful. The rooms are beautiful & Clean. The buffet blast is AMAZING and the girl in charge is absolutely the sweetest. In city center, close to all major attractions. Staffs are nice and helpful. The drawback is that the cold water machine is broken and not being repaired/replaced.

Room was very small. Bed only have sheets. No comforter or blanket.

It is superbly located and the staff is so sweet and helpful. The hotel has lots of character but the walls were thin and the noise will disturb most people's sleep. I could hear their loud conversation at night and in the morning.

Wonderful welcome at check-in, Ammar was very joyful. The hotel room was clean, well decorated, had a great hot water pressure shower and the toiletries were of a great brand. However, the bed was very saggy and we were not able to get a restful night's sleep because of it. The only thing letting this hotel down, which of course is the main priority when choosing an accommodation. Luckily we were only staying for one night.

Enjoyed my stay

Great location. On our floor, hotel room doors were not soundproofed at all and there were loud noises from the hallways throughout the night. Also, another guest was given access to our room by accident and woke us up in the middle of the night, which was scary for my girlfriend. They apologized but took no other steps to make amends. Overall, I would probably not stay at the same place for the price although it was a decent hotel minus the bad experience and lack of soundproofing.

The stuff is very friendly. The hotel style is very artistic which I loved. The locations is super convenient for many turistic places in " la puerta del sol"

This hotel was terrible. There was only 1 TINY elevator that was so slow. It was old and getting remolded but not a place I would return too!

This hotel was a fantastic option for our family of 4. Our room had a beautiful little balcony and view of rooftops. The staff was friendly, breakfast was nice, bathrooms were very clean. I’d stay in our room again anytime!

This is extremely close to the center of all action in madrid. Just a few minutes away walk from the famous bear statue. The hotel is a little old. The breakfast is good.
