Our stay was generally satisfactory. The staff was courteous and accommodating. However, I encountered a significant issue with the exceptionally thin walls. I was able to discern conversations occurring in adjacent rooms and the sound of children stomping from above, rendering the accommodation not soundproof. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall experience was positive.

If you expect to sleep don’t stay here! The staff are amazing however the management simply don’t care! Was here for medical tourism - kept awake all night with noise of traffic, wild dogs barking, elevator machinery, doors banging, large noisy tour groups, paper thin walls so you can hear other guests. We have recordings from every night of our stay from inside the room with window and balcony door closed!
Raised with staff who offered 2 alternative rooms on lower floors nearer the noise! Offered upgrade to top floor for €150 per night which we of course declined! Noise was unbearable on night 7/14 that staff issued ear plugs!!! Told by IHG Customer Care that the General Manager would contact us within 48 hours - still waitiing! Have requested a refund for the nights we haven’t used and been told No as they offered room on a higher floor - no they didn’t! Also they stated that they had already given us a sea view room on the 9th floor when we booked a city view room like we should be thankful! Maybe the room we booked would have been quieter?
We have now moved to another hotel at an additional cost -
Do they think we would have done this if they had actually made a suitable alternative? Also they dispute when we complained - regardless of when we complained we paid for a hotel and expect to be able to sleep - pretty basic!!!

Friendly staff who understand your needs. They treat you like a five star guest. We were staying for only one night and we cancelled our other property to stay here. The location is also perfect between lara park and city center. Hotel is kept clean, organized with all the comfort you need. I would come back here to stay longer. Thank you for the best experience.

We had two nights stay at Holiday Inn. Our room was upgraded just to make our stay very special. After few days of road trip Holiday Inn offered a perfect stay. Convenient location between Lara beach and city center. Most welcoming staff, who tried to make possible everything we needed. Sea view with plenty of room inside and out in the balcony. Food was awesome, better and more reasonable than outside restaurants. Easy self park and safe location. I would come back here again and stay for few weeks. You’re treated like a feel like 5 star guest.🙏🙏🙏

The staff in the morning today was rude and condescending. Especially the lady. Staff is the heart of any hospitality and hotel business, and this hotel needs to work on that. Disappointed. Will not stay again. The place is okay, its liveable for a night or so. Wouldnt come here for a vacation though, thanks to the woman on the reception counter today at 11 am, July 8, 2023. I forgot to get her name to make a formal complaint with Holiday Inn headquarters.

The property is located in residential old area. The parking area is limited. The size of the room is small. Facility is some how tired and has the basic elements. Staff are very corporative and supportive. Not suitable for a long stay.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel for two weeks. The cleanness, hospitality, and staff friendliness were all beyond expectations. The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood, not in a commercial area. It was ideal for me as I could explore little family shops, restaurants, and street food vendors. The shuttle to the beach is also convenient, and amenities for beach use are complimentary. After the first week, it seemed like everyone knew my name and my preference for social routine. I highly recommend this place, and I can't wait to return.

Everything was dirty, the bed, on the floor. This is actually the dirtiest hotel we’ve stayed. We were not able to see the bottom of the pool, which had 1.40m. It seems like the staff doesn’t care about anything else apart from the starbucks cafeteria and to salute when you go in or out. I will never stay at this hotel again and I feel that I should ask for a refund.

I never normally review properties but this is the best holiday inn I’ve ever been too! The room was stunning, the bed was so comfortable, it was clean and tidy, the bathroom was modern and spotless! Even had all dove products! Room service was great, wish we was there for longer than we was it was amazing!

We stayed for one night before our connection flight the next morning. Our room was on the 10th floor and we discovered by great surprise that the airplanes just fly above the hotel! It was so loud I had a hard time sleeping! They fly every 10-20 minutes which could be heard loudly even if you close the balcony door. It made me anxious to a point that I was expecting the next flight with some distress. Also, this prevented me from opening the balcony door for some fresh air since it was so loud. I would not prefer this hotel or the area again for this reason.
Also, we ordered food from outside and found out that they would not let us eat the food in the room (hotel policy). I had to argue and plead with the receptionist, which finally let us take the food. However, after a 5 hour flight I was tense and angry about this "hotel policy" that tries to control what I can and cannot eat in my room.
Also I would rate the mattress "uncomfortable and old" and it sinks in the middle. Feels like there is a hole in the middle.

Stay was average. Rooms are clean and in good condition. Staff at reception are welcoming but others 1. Don’t speak English well, 2. Sometimes make it obvious they would rather be somewhere else themselves. The Sauna is ok, steam room wasn’t working and Hammam is DIY!

The bed was broken one 1 side, mattress heavily tilting on 1 side. The room was 27C inside despite the AC adjustment, when complained was told it was off from main control system. The phone was not working.
Most important issue was the bed. I reported to the relationship manager to review and get back to me, left my business card. No one dared to contact me. 1 night of uncomfortable sleep while room was charge USD180. a total rip off
