No accommodation for a ramp access. Have to carry bags up stairs both into and within the property.

No room service and restaurant would not lend us silverware for take out. Seems weird when paying $350 usd per night. However main restaurant is beautiful and dinner and breakfast buffet were quite good

Excellent Hotel

The Bergen Bors is in a great location. The hotel had everything we were looking for during our stay in Bergen.

What a beautiful hotel. The old 1840 Stock Exchange. Wonderful bed, shower and location.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city and is perfect for exploring it. Additionally there are amazing historic frescoes in the restaurant. Our only negatives is that we had silverfish in the room.

Loved the location. For the rate I was expecting maybe complimentary water in the room. The lobby is stark. The front office staff very helpful. The food in the restaurant especially the veal tataki was excellent. Waiter great but seemed understaffed. Then again everyone is understaffed.

Very nice hotel. Getting into the hotel and accessing the elevator involved going up and down step stars. No staff to help with luggage.

Gorgeous breakfast vibes and food options, Nice high ceiling double window room overlook the city. The shower curtain is really filthy . Looks like never replaced or cleaned. Gym room TV can not be turned on. Asked for help but he only tried couple buttons and rushed to something else never returned.

the hotel staffs were rather rude, from reception to the restaurant manager at the lobby restaurant. the female reception staff told me sarcastically ‘you can call and check every 10mins if you want’ when I checked when my in-laws room would be ready. I sat at the lobby restaurant, waited for 20mins, waved numerous times, nobody bothered. I then asked the manager how to book the Izakaya dinner in the hotel, he arrogantly pointed my phone and told me, through your phone. When we checked out from the hotel, we had to ask the staff if we had any sort of discount for parking since we are in house guests, she very lightly said oh ya we forgot to mention. To me, these are the basics, politeness, customer service, this hotel had NONE. I have put ‘please clean my room’ before I left for dinner, 5pm, came back to hotel at 10, nothing was cleaned. I understand it’s not a 5 star hotel but the service was worse than a hostel. Do not recommend anyone to stay here, rude staffs.

This is a 2 star hotel maximum. I have booked two loft suite rooms and they are terrible deocrated. Outdated room outdated bathrooms. Not clean at all No slippers no amenities at all Coffee machine is bad and dirty No water bottels Room floor carpet is full of hair and dirty This hotel is really just a 2 star hotel. Not worth the money at all. If you like staying in a dirty outdated hotel then this is your chance to try this one out.

Great location! Hotel is an older building. Beautiful on the outside, old updates on the inside. If you get a loft room you will have many beams to duck under and its a tight fit. Breakfast was AMAZING!

The reception staff was very accommodating and gave us an early checki in. The location was great. Our room was small and cheaply furnished with poor lighting and no modern amenities. A poor value.

This was our second time to stay at this hotel. We love it! The breakfast in the morning is one of the best we have ever had in Europe. The staff is quite accommodating as well. We loved our room and the location of the hotel. It was very close to the mountain for hiking, tourist attractions (you must see the Resistance Museum), shopping, and dining.

Tiny room!

5 star???? More like 2 star!!! Please if this is a 5 star hotel then the adjudicating body is giving them out like peanuts. No ramp for luggage, no concierge, no help with your luggage up the flight of stairs into the hotel, no help with your luggage to the room and you have to carry it down the steps, NO parking and you have to park literally a mile away, you can park outside to offload luggage but you could potentially get a ticket, parking garage is crazy expensive, rooms are dark and small and have only two power outlets on the ‘desk’ and none by the bed!! No air conditioning! No usb sockets anywhere, beds are something out of a bad hostel, pillows are terrible, room smells, no sofa, the ugliest and smallest hotel gym you’ve ever seen! only one set of elevators work, when they mopped the floors by reception downstairs I almost slipped because there was no sign, we asked for a breakfast to go bag as we were leaving at 6:45 and they forgot to prepare one. There is nothing good about this hotel avoid at all costs.

We had a loft suite and it was the cutest room ever. It had a bed and bath on first floor and a larger king bed in the loft area. There was a ton of character to the room and the hotel. The bathroom was unique as the shower stall didn’t have any barriers so you couldn’t help but get the bathroom a bit wet but it wasn’t awful. The reception was great, quickly got us checked in and to our room in under five minutes. The restaurant that served breakfast was incredibly lovely inside and the breakfast was pretty good. We had a lovely one night stay and would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Bergen. Very convenient location with good restaurants and the funicular only a short walk away.

Our Junior Suite and views were amazing. The convenience to walk straight out to the fishing market was great!
