Everything was good but surprisingly the hotel couldn’t stop the constant noise from the room above my room which was kind of irritating. The hotel also did not loan umbrellas to guests as it was raining.

I LOVED the neighborhood of this hotel, and I love all of Lucerne. The Astoria is quite accessible ro downtown/Old Town...just acoss the river. But, the hotel itself was light, airy, modern and had great amenities, including a roomy bathroom with lots of counterspace. I loved the Hotel Astoria, and the city of Lucerne! I would definiely book a room there again.

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel in Luzern, and I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. The location is absolutely unbeatable—just a couple of blocks away from the iconic Chapel Bridge and an easy, pleasant walk from the train station. This made exploring the city incredibly convenient, whether I was taking in the local sights or hopping on a train for a day trip. The hotel itself has been newly renovated, and it shows. My room was immaculate, with a modern roomy design that made it a pleasure to return to after a day of sightseeing. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the room's decor and amenities. What truly set this hotel apart, though, was the staff. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating, always ready with a smile and willing to go the extra mile to ensure my stay was perfect. Whether I needed directions, recommendations for dining, or assistance with my plans, they were there to assist in the most professional and friendly manner. Overall, this hotel made my stay in Luzern exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and top-notch service in a prime location.

Very uncomfortable stay, the room is not clean. I have requested a room NOT at the end of the corridor 2 weeks before my stay. But then the staff gave me a room at the end of the corridor. It took me 20 mins to be changed to another room. The room is not clean. Lighting is not enough. The bed sheets are humid. I found dirt on the bed, and the curtain at the toilets. A bad experience.

Great location to sites. Superb public transit system (free pass for tourists, too!). Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

Mattress was extremely hard and shower filled with water, drain was slow, had to turn off the shower 2 times just so that it wouldn’t over flow. Have stayed in far better hotels in Lucerne for less money.

Hotel breakfast food is terrible. No fresh at all. One of orange we are is rotten and hotel manager won,t accept complain and said it is customer responsibility. Food is limited & space is so small. Hotel room isn,t clean and bath towels are dirty. Hotel counter service is rude.

Excellent service! Free breakfast with yummy cappuccino machines! The location is great with train station, bus service, restaurants, museums, shopping, etc. in walking distance. The room was quiet, clean, efficient, and comfortable with a refrigerator and safe.

The stay was great

The Astoria in Lucerne provided us with a very disappointing stay. Door of our unit and look out on the back lane we've knew the stay would not be enjoyable. The layout of our room is disappointing again been facing out over the rear Lane and our TV entertainment place that right angles where we had watched it. Bathroom also was surprising with open plan providing no sound for privacy while using the facilities. Overall we found the Astoria highly overpriced for what was provided good tell other travelers to look elsewhere.

Good hotel clean with good location

Had a very good stay here. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was real good. The property is located very close to the train station and lots of dining options . We had food at the Thai restaurant located in the property food was very delicious and the chef catered to our vegetation options . Would love to come back to this place .

Great hotel and location to visit the area.

Decent location in Old Town. Easy to trains and bus. Nice room but a bit pricey. Staff was ok but a bit “stuffy” with an attitude. Breakfast was good.

The hotel is in a very noisy location. People on the street kept talking all night making it hard to sleep. Hotel is very upscale and clean. But windows don’t open at all which made it claustrophobic for me.

Great location, wonderful staff and clean rooms. Dining was good. I wish they offered late checkout but alas no one is perfect.
