At first I was concerned as there was about 15-18 min from center of town, but what a beautiful walk along the promenade, and if you decided to take the bus, it was only 1/4 block from hotel and ran every couple minutes. The room we had with lake view was a very spacious and very clean and comfortable. The people at front desk were very accommodating and breakfast was wonderful.

The staff was excellent and always willing to help. The hotel is in an old mansion so it had unique room figures that were a pleasant touch compared to the modern rooms that look alike.

Quiet and beautiful location with amazing lakeside views yet still very convenient to downtown via free public transport (you get a Lucerne card with hotel stay)...bus only 5 min direct from train station. Rooms are clean with high ceilings and cute decor and bonus treat. Breakfast simple but pleasant. Only wish they had some free tea or coffee options at other times of day either in lobby or in rooms somehow. Staff pleasant and helpful. Great value in Lucerne.

Pillows were uncomfortable, way too soft/flat. Breakfast was basic & inconsistent. Shower curtain stuck to your body while trying to shower. We had to leave after one night due to personal concern. They would not refund even part of our money. We paid for 3 nights.

You could not ask for a more beautiful location. The window in my room looked out over a lovely park onto lake Lucerne. I only was in Luzerne 2 nights and wished I had stayed longer.

We booked one room with two bedrooms. One bedroom did not have air conditioning they gave us a fan. Hotel advertised that they have air condition and two queen size beds. We only had one queen bed

The entire hotel staff was very kind, cheery and helpful. We were without our luggage, they provided us with essential items, opened the kitchen for us to get a meal and always provided tips for getting around the city. A special shout out to Moritz, he was so helpful, kind and welcoming. Would give the hotel 10 stars if it were a choice!!!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights during our Swiss vacation. This was her favorite hotel of the five we stayed in. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. It was easy to get to other parts of Lucerne, by going for a nice walk or hopping on the city bus (free for guests) for a few minutes.

This property is in a fantastic location with beautiful views. The staff is extremely friendly and very patient with questions about the area and transportation. Breakfast includes outside seating with a soft breeze and views of the water. It was a truly wonderful stay. Many of my colleagues stayed there as well and were very pleased. I hope to go back on a personal trip someday with my husband.

Lovely hotel with great service and fun yet comfy and stylish rooms. Easy walk into town center and beautiful views of park and lake. Also free bus passes and easy to catch right outside if you don’t want to take the nice stroll along the lake. Grateful for the portable AC units in the summer heat!

A wonderful gem...the location was amazing. A beautiful park on the lake across the street. A quick 6 minute walk along lake to the main center. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back.

Fantastic location on the lake shore about a 20min walk into the centre. Spacious & comfortable room with balcony. Would have liked a kettle in the room. Breakfast selection smaller than we have had elsewhere but was plentiful and tasty. Staff very welcoming & helpful. Not a cheap place to stay but think that’s a reflection on the area not the hotel! We were able to have a parking space close by for SF20 having reserved one in advance.

The hotel was so cute and nice with beautiful view from the breakfast room and beautiful art decor. We had a 2 bedroom suite so the it was spacious and we love it. The elevator was unique and small. The only complain is the pillows, they are too soft, so we have to sleep with 2 pillows. We tried the breakfast once but the portion was too small so we skipped it for the rest of our stay.

Excellent small hotel along the lakefront in Lucerne. Building is historic and gently restored but kept true to itself. Contemporary design elements and furnishings throughout with many unique touches. Simple and not luxurious but somehow just right. The only thing missing is a hot water kettle in the room.

We had a gorgeous lake view. The property is close to the bus stop. It is 3-4 stops or a 19-12 min walk from schwanenplatz where there are lots of dining options. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The property is old and well maintained but there was distinct smell in the hallway, rooms and especially in the closets that bothered us and our children.

We had an issue with reserved parking. An unauthorized vehicle was parked in the hotel space AND there was no place for us to park. The staff was so helpful in how to maneuver the situation and took care of our parking ticket for parking in a space close to hotel.

Overpriced for what it is. Tries to be a cool, hip place, but is a glorified B&B. No staff after 11pm, breakfast is just a small selection of breads, cereals, cheese and fruit, no hot options, no menu.
Old building, so lovely to see, but not very comfortable as a result. Pretty basic offering. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming though.

this hotel had such a beautiful view , nice walking trail by the water . parking was a little difficult to figure out for us but if you’re used to getting around these areas maybe you’ll be in better luck. would recommend this stay !
