Hotel was lovely, even had a library for swapping books in many different languages. Lots of greenery, but because there was 2 dirty ponds with fish that I felt sorry for, it attracted mosquitos. I did not like the area around, it was very run down with not many restaurants to suit western tastes. Many restaurants have closed down in the area. I went for water sports, which there is plenty, but the beach was not pleasant and was dirty. Queen room was very dark with limited light, lotus 3 was better although noisy as next to small road. Staff were very friendly and helpful, although if you eat in restaurant be patient, you can sit there easily for 10 mins and you have to get their attention when you patience runs out and was bitten by mosquito 3 times waiting to order my breakfast, although guests in other seats were not effected, I was very unlucky every morning seated in the middle

I can’t thank the owners & staff enough for making me welcome & ensuring my was really special. Special thanks to Putu, Numan, Malik & Juni. The accommodation & grounds are beautiful with lots of Balinese character. Very serene & tranquil. Breakfast was delicious. The accomodation is really suited to a more mature clientele. I’d say it’s not really a place for kids as it’s so quiet & the pool is big enough but rather small for kids frolicking. Minor feedback: I would suggest replacing the towels & ensuring their whiteness & softness. Thank you again to all the staff at Pondok Agung 🙏 Tracy

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the garden was beautiful and so relaxing, and the area was lovely. Everything was in walking distance and the beach is literally across the road. It was a very pleasant stay, and I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful staff and caring management. We went there expecting to be well-cared for due to its high customer ratings but Pondok Agung and Daiwi, the Swiss-owners daughter, far exceeded those expectations. We and they had to cope with ever-stressful situations as the Coronavirus continues its disruptive course but we always felt safe and pampered at Pondok Agung and felt sad leaving them as Bali, like the rest of the world, gradually goes into survival mode. To misquote General Douglas McArthur in 1942 “we will return”. Thank you Daiwi

A quiet, small operation in the middle of a huge island of multimillion dollar results. It's wonderful and quiet. Literally an enclosed area to make you feel like you escaped. The people are friendly and the rooms are humble. The pool is great and the breakfast is perfect.

Amazing staff.The beach across the street is only for water sports activities, and not very good for swimming. So if you want to go to a beach where you can relax and swim it’s 15 min. Away on a scooter. We rented the scooters at the reception, super easy. But overall a very nice hotel. I would definitely come back again.

Excellent staffs attitude.

Staff were absolutely wonderful! So helpful and friendly, felt like they were family. Worth staying here just for them :) Bed was comfortable and everything was very clean Only thing I would suggest is to have more/brighter lighting in the rooms thank you

We had a enjoyable stay at Pondok Agung Bed and Breakfast. The staff is super friendly and the complex is super clean. The price was appropriate and we would stay there again.

The service was outstanding, from arranging transportation from the airport to a very late arrangement for diving the next day. Even putting together a last minute massage! The breakfast was wonderful, the grounds were simply full of life. I wish I had spent more days here, everything was just amazing and I hope to bring my family back with me next time. The room was lovely, quiet (with some road noise), lovely view out over the pool and gardens. The deck was perfect to dry swimsuits and sit at the table to enjoy a beverage in the evening. A TV and safe were in the room, but I used neither. The bathroom was just wonderful and the hot water was delicious after 36 hours of travel. I would stay here alone, as a couple, or even as a family. It was really wonderful!
