I stayed 1 night at the L’heritage Diamond, and one night at a different property. The L’heritage Diamond ( LD) was 20% more expensive than the other hotel. However, the other hotel handily beat the LD in every meaningful category : cleanliness, guest service, design, comfort, noise level, and value. Management would be well advised to implement a better system of monitoring and ensuring room cleanliness. My bedsheet had a very noticeable red stain, and there were numerous hairs on the bathroom floor and a towel. The staff in the lobby and restaurant were pleasant, and professional for the most part. Overall, my stay was decent, but not great.

We had a very nice stay at L’heritage Diamond Hotel and Spa. Stayed here 3 times over the course of about 1 week. (Had day trips with stayover in between) Hotel staff is very nice and looked after our luggage while we where away. Location is exquisite. It is very easy to get around from Hotel location. Only thing to put a finger on would be the breakfast buffet which was not in my taste. But that is most likely due to the fact that im european. Highly recommendable.

Wonderful family room with great set up with two connecting rooms. Wonderful reception staff with Marteen doing a great job managing reception and Viet Anh so helpful and kind. Massage staff wonderful and gave our children great massages for a very reasonable fee. Totally recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again as faultless and great location.

On arrival we were put in a room on 4th floor. Very hot and no lift. We asked to be moved which was achieved on day 3 of 4. The new room by the pool on ground floor was excellent. Pool was lovely, but there was building work going on right next to the pool which was all day and noisy and dusty. Would stay agin but only in round floor poolside room. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Had just one night stay in Hanoi but all the staff here were absolutely great even allowed us to leave luggage in foyer while we explored after our Halong Bay Cruise, even though we weren't staying there that night

Great location - room overlooks construction site and they work at night. Breakfast needs work - coffee and noodle soup terrible and for Vietnam that is just not acceptable

Fantastic stay and we were made to feel very welcome indeed. The staff are exceptional and this is a wonderful hotel to stay in.

We did not start in the best way here in this hotel with a problem in room door locking, but then the hotel stuff tried in all ways possible to find a solution and giving some extras for free. I appreciated a lot how they care about their customer comfort and sutisfacrion. My Bedroom was tiny but well arranged with fresh fruit, minibar, clean towels and soft large bed. Breakfast was well served at the top of their building from where you can admire the old city center, inclusive of the cathedral, as a panoramic view. Breakfast dishes are not just repeating all the same each day, so if you stop more than one day, you will have variety in different continental and vietnamies food. Location is perfect for enjoying shops, restaurants and local real life style. Taxi availability and private car arrangement are also easy and at good price in this hotel. What I just missed to test is their massage center, next time I will try it.

The positives are good location and very friendly and helpful staff. The negatives are the relatively small rooms, and bathrooms that need upgrades and maintenance.

Nice hotel, but the do construction work on the other side of the street. We got moved from a nice front room to a cramped side room to escape the noise. When constructions are finished in a few months this will be a perfect place to stay in the old town. Nice 9th floor breakfast restaurant with view. Clean rooms, new hotel, good service.

The room was a lot smaller than we expected. We booked 2 separate rooms for my husband and I and my friend and her boyfriend. I am not sure if they had given both of us a really small room because we stayed for one night or if that is the size for all the rooms. It would be do-able for just one person. Thankfully we only had 1 luggage cause we wouldn’t know what to do if we had 2. We ended up staying at another sister hotel after our halong bay tour and it was a lot more comforting.

Great location in the Old Quarter. The staff was awesome and made us feel right at home! Room was modern and very clean. Our room had a large bathroom with a walk-in shower. The breakfast options were delicious and plentiful. We would highly recommend this hotel

Not as I expected. Horrible location with construction everywhere. The room was extremely small and in general, it reminded me of a motel versus a hotel. The bathroom, especially the tub/shower combo was weird. All in all, I would never stay here again. The hotel staff were gracious and were well aware of my concern as I submitted my initial feedback and they comped my ride from the airport to the hotel. This rating has nothing to do with the staff, but the hotel in general. Thank goodness I only had to stay there for several hours.

The warm and personalised service provided by the hotel. The bed was comfortable, the pillows new and plumpy. Breakfast had a great selection, with the first properly cooked sausages we've come across in 3 weeks in Vietnam! The reception staff called us by name, and made effort to fulfil our requests quickly. Perfect location. Spa is a highlight as well.

I stayed 4 nights and overall a very good location hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.
