This was our first visit to Muscat, Oman and also our first stay at W. We have been blown away and amazed by the high quality of food, drink, rooms, surroundings and staff. We have been to several 5 star hotels, and believe this hotel must be 7 or 8 stars. This place can’t come more highly recommended!

hotel and rooms are nice, service is slow at best and always forgetful. Also in some hotel venues staff are rude and do not accommodate hotel guests in the least.

We had an amazing stay at W Muscat. Everything was perfect from beginning until the end. The beautiful hotel is well located and offers stunning views of the Royal Opera House and the sea. The staff are all extremely friendly, welcoming and professional. The food is great, the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, the pool area is relaxing. If you’re planning on visiting Muscat, this is the place to be!

Very friendly & helpful staff

The W Muscat is absolutely amazing ! The staff, the cleanliness, the spacious room, the lovely pool, absolutely everything !! We were there for one week with our 5 yr old son. There were so many places to have lunch / dinner in the hotel and also many delicious restaurants and coffee places a few minutes walk away. Aram coffee just around the corner was also convenient and perfect to feed delicious food and drinks to big and small people! Top location. One of the best hotel we ever stayed at. We are already planning to go back!!

Beautiful property and very friendly staff. Caroline was the front desk agent that checked me in and she was SO helpful! She informed me of all the activities I could do in the area as well as how to get to may places simply by walking. Big Kudos to you Caroline!

Very nice

It was an amazing experience. The service was exceptional by each of the staff members. Especially we would like to recognize the superbe service from Pathum who served us at the Harvest breakfast restaurant. Overall it was super clean, the pool was beautiful with very comfortable beds. Free served cold drinks and water and we were pleasantly surprised by the pool party on Friday! Really enjoyed it. The food was excellent and as said the breakfast was overwhelming with plenty of choices. We would highly recommend to stay at the W. Even when we left the concierge guided us towards the taxi with a very warm goodbye (e.g arranged cash for the taxi). Looking forward revisiting or visiting another W.

Team is very professional and friendly. Beautiful pool area, the different design of the outdoor area creates a great atmosphere. Room with sea view was perfect! All in all, we had a wonderful stay

The hotel is very grand and chic. The pool is amazing and restaurants around are good. What was disappointing is the food variations in the menu and beverages as well. We had dinner at Buddha bar on the rooftop, the restaurant did not have the expected variations that you usually see in any W hotel. The beverages also lacked the variations for eg we could not have a patron tequila due to unavailability. They only had one type only! At the pool we wanted to have a regular club sandwich but instead they had a salmon club which was surprisingly odd. As they could not modify it for us.

The actual building is nice. The beds are worn out and you sleep on a slope because the mattress are so old and used. The restraunts are very limited in menu and actual taste. My best meal was when I went to PF Changs in mall. The prices are outrageous for the quality of food you get which is poor at best.

Great room. Great pool area. Nice breakfast. The steak house restaurant in the hotel was really expensive and scared customers away.

Great staff and great facilities

Check in was very late.....we arrived at 2.30pm but didn't get out room until just before 4 which is late considering how much you are paying to stay here. We wanted to spend the afternoon by the pool as the weather was so good but they had run out of towels and it then took 2 hours to get some clean towels. Bit of a disappointing start. The hotel is nice and the rooms very comfortable but it wasn't a good start to our stay so we probably won't ever stay here again. Also very slow check out!

A lovely hotel with fabulous facilities. We chose to stay here over Christmas Day and the following couple of days before heading home as a place to completely relax and unwind. The pool was incredible and the various options for poolside lounging were great and mixed it up. Please note it’s a very shallow pool. The hotel is very modern and has some very cool features but certain things can definitely be improved on. The service mainly being one of them. The front desk staff and concierge were great. The poolside and breakfast staff were all great but just very unorganised. We witnessed several complaints being made. Poolside staff were incredibly friendly and polite but it took a long time for food/ drinks to arrive. It felt like all the poolside staff and breakfast staff run around everywhere rather than being assigned certain areas-just a bit chaotic and a mess. Alongside this we asked for scales in our room-it took 4 phone calls and a trip to reception for it to arrive. We also requested different pillows which took almost 2 hours to arrive after being chased. I wouldn’t normally complain about these things but a 5 star establishment at this price should do better. The hotel was very expensive and compared to other 5 star hotels we stayed at on this trip and although the facilities were great the service at the other hotels was noticeably better.

Hotel with sea-front view right behind the beautifull opera House. New buildings, nice decor, kind staff. Reception helpfull and concierge very attentive. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. In room dining ok. Restaurant Char is decently good. Restaurant Siddhartha very cool and nice service. Recommended for both family and business trips
