Actually, I didn't stay at Hyatt Place Waco on this date. I mistakenly booked for a day sooner than the day needed and when I tried to change the booking (admittedly, the day of) Hyatt was unwilling to change it forcing me to rebook for the actual date and not get a refund for the my error, even though no one stayed in the room.
It is a little frustrating. I admit the error on my part, however, to not be extended a little grace, I guess is simply indicative of the times we live in.

First got there no one at desk for about 10 minutes. We tried to call front desk and phone didn't' work in our room so we called on our cell phones twice and no one answered.
mold was around our shower. And a ball of hair was in the bathroom floor.

Upon check-in we made sure our room would have bed made and clean towels the next day. That never happened. At 5p we were told the cleaning staff had left. At 5:30p they were cleaning the room across the hall. Went to dinner, came back...still nothing.

Checked in with no issues. Water pressure for showering ranks as worst I have ever stayed to date. Wife has long hair and wasn’t enough pressure for her to wash it. Mentioned to staff but they had no clue. However, they mentioned our reservation was for only 1 night which I was able to show confirmation for 2 nights. Staff related they would check and contact which never happened. Breakfast was average at best. This was definitely not up to Hyatt Place standards. Very disappointing.

This is the third time we’ve stayed at this location and it’s always been great!

Everything was good. The room needed some repair as in peeling paint in the bathroom and a couple other minor things but overall was good.

1. The anti-slip surface in the bathtub needs replacing
2. Lamp on table next to the TV seems to have an electrical short because the light flickers a lot
3. Phone chargers are needed. Your competitor hotel chain has table lamps with chargers in the base. Android and iPhone devices can be charged

Light in the room was very poor. Too dim. Our room didn't have a hydraulic closer. The other issues are due to damage in the room prior to arriving

This has literally been the best hotel that I’ve ever been in in like a long time. They’re clean they have great customer service. They have a nice indoor pool they provide breakfast could not have asked for a better place to stay For my babies birthday

Great room! I requested a quiet room and it was! Quite large with great handicap accommodations. I asked for a shower bench and was given a choice between a shower chair or a bench! Loved it! Will definitely go back

All the staff we came in contact with were excellent. Helpful, friendly and knew their jobs and did them very well. When we got there our room was extremely hot, the AC was running, but blowing hot air. We were in another room within 30 minutes or less. The room was temporary and we were in new room the next day before 10:30. The breakfast is excellent and I'm sorry I can't remember the lady that managed it, but she was wonderful. She kept everything stocked, and checked on every person there in the breakfast area. Very sweet and caring person. A good stay!

No decaf coffee in the breakfast area until day 2. Efforts were appreciated. All the staff were very attentive to our needs. Front desk was most helpful when we needed to extend our stay.

It was a beautiful hotel with wonderful grounds and excellent customer service. We stayed for two nights and did not have any kind of issues.

They have bed bugs and really should care enough to take care of the situation. The pool need a facelift very poor looking smells horrendous of bleach and hot in that room. Staff however very friendly. I will never stay here again!

Very Convenient and safe location. Staff was helpful and attentive. The breakfast was just okay. The room was clean enough. Was not a fan of the frosted glass bathroom barn door. If you needed to get up in the night or earlier than your partner to use the bathroom the light shining through would wake them up. Paper thin walls. We could hear everything adjoining room was saying.

Breakfast was not even eatable. Mattress was okay but not great. Staff was good.

It was good overall our toilet clogged up and they wouldn’t come fix it on our last day. So we just left.
