Poor parking spare and signage

Wotif charge $125.61 yet Gold Coast Inn debited $139 from my credit card. Also insisted on $100 deposit on checking in to motel. I want the $139 payment investigated as I should not have been charged this price on 18th February 2024

Rooms quite dated.

Was good for what we needed it for, could do with more comfortable beds, other then that great price, great area would stay again.

Staff are super friendly and very helpful they also allowed us to keep our bags at the motel reception after we checked out so we don't have to carry around luggage on our last day of exploring the gold coast. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The amenities that come with the room are great. We will definitely be coming back to this motel if we come back up to the gold coast :)

Good for a short stay.

Average property for the price, in need of some updating and soundproofing. Noisy guest rooms. Close to G:train station though but only good for short stay, in this instance 2 nights was possibly the maximum.

The afterhours (anytime after 5pm) checkin process was awful. I'd called ahead a couple of days early as requested and emailed through a copy of my I.d. They sent me an email with info on check in and i assumed that was everything i needed. When we arrived, a lovely couple staying there explained to us that there were lock boxes out front with the room keys in it so we just needed a code to open that which we hadnt been given in the email, they'd had the exact same problem the day before. I called the helpdesk number and explained the issue, their phone was having issues so would automatically end the call every 30 seconds, took 6 calls from me to get them to give me the code to our lock box. It was extremely frustrating and no attempt from them to call me back each time. Once we had our room key (upstairs room), started looking around for a ramp/lift as we had a sleeping baby in the stroller. Called the helpdesk back who advised there are only stairs. Had to wake baby and again another couple staying helped us carry stroller and our suitcases up the stairs. Room was okay, a bit rundown and outdated. Saw a couple of cockroaches throughout our stay but other than that clean enough. Walls were very thin. No sink in kitchenette so only was to wash dishes was in the tiny bathroom sink which i found a little unhygienic. No housekeeping offered for our 5 night stay, had to request new towels myself. Overall wouldn't recommended, especially for a famiy.

You have to realize you get what you pay for. It's quite cheap for the area which can be very expensive. Remember it is a motel. Tiny room but nicely presented and clean, nice shower, nice size fridge, bed just ok, tram right outside one stop to casino, a few blocks from beach. Location is very close to shops pubs etc. on the whole definitely worth it. we arrived by car and found the booking in, rather confusing. it would help if they explained the reception is in the side Street not on the main road.

Good price for short stay and secured parking. Definitely needs a designated smoking area.

Check in instructions incomplete.were fixed with phone calls Area overcrowded too many highrise towers. Not much light at ground level. Area very unattractive

I thought the shower was the room excellent.and the bed nice enough.i just think the rooms facing the highway need double glazing.over all good value for the price

Excellent position between Broadbeach and Surfers next to GLink stop. It was noisy at times (other guests going in and out) but i slept well despite a slightlyy lumpy mattress. The shower pressure was hopeless - or maybe the rose was clogged?

Great for the price. All the stairs are a bit of an issue.

The studio we stayed had signs of being broken into probably more than once. Inner entrance door not able to be locked from the outside as it had not been fixed from the break ins. Bathroom had no where to hang your towels or clothes. Walls are paper thin you can hear other guests.

If you need a cheap night away from hostels or just a stay over, this place is actually amazing, great shower, great location. Comfy, overall 10/10

Stayed with a few mates in Surfers for the night. Comfortably slept 4 people. Pool was nice and cold

Nowhere to park outside to sign in, very difficult carting luggage up steep hill to go to room

It is an excellent place to stay, close to the main road and a few minutes walk to the beach. Tram station opposite to the facility which is convenient.

You definitely don’t get what’s you paid for. 200$ at least for a rundown room, hair in the shower, spots of mold and the toilet couldn’t flush out properly. I wished I booked somewhere else. Although the bed was nice.

Very clean good price safe parking. But the staff member i spock to on the phone was very hard to understand. A part from that our say was good would say again.

Was very run down and showers not cleaned properly

Bad smell as soon as opened room door, very small room very much disappointed as the room was not even worth what we paid. No milk for coffee, coffee was old and stick. Old dirty water damaged table. Bed was next to main door. Horrible experience. Also car park was terrible
