Easy check in/out, triple glazed windows so no noise, windows are sealed, so no fresh air (only issue) also no air con. But hey, for the cost, excellent value.

I was expecting room be like on picture but when I arrived it was all cramp in together which I wasn’t happy about as we got 3 people it is not enough room to move around or anything.

Room was cosy, however the window could not be opened. I think it was a little overpriced for what you get. Breakfast options were a little limited

Though a budget hotel the price is anything but (£147) and I booked two months before arrival. The room was small, but clean but as it was just me not a problem. No closet but a rail hanging on the wall, but only had one hanger. Room has A/C and it was hot but there was no real cold air being pumped out and there was no window to open so a fairly stuffy night. Location was good for me and their was a Waitrose on the other side of the road, so I would consider again using, but only if I couldn't get a preferred hotel.

Modern

This ibis is surprising modern, with spacious reception and breakfast area, nicely decorated with sofas, tables and TV. The water fountain was useful. The shower was very good and the room was equipped enough amenities. The only suggestion I would give is the bed was a bit too soft

Room only needed bars to be a prison cell. View of a brick wall. Bed totally uncomfortable.

We arrived at 2pm (an hour early) and was charged £10 early entry fee, even though the room was ready. The room was clean but very cramped. The bed wasn't very comfortable. Lovely shower with good water pressure. A bit inconvenient with no parking facilities. The location suited our needs but I don’t think I would stay here again.

Room was really warm even with the air con in the lowest setting. No window to get any fresh air. Staff on reception quite abrupt. 1 night was enough.

Just using hotel for a bed as here for university visit. Was cheap and today, rooms small but not a problem as we just wanted to use the bed for sleep and not stay I. The room. For the price it was value for money

The hotel is just outside the city centre. The hotel although does not seem old, it’s not cleaned very well at all. My room still had rubbish from the previous person staying there. The breakfast options are also very limited. I will not stay there again.

Very clean rooms, comfy bed, good bathroom, room quite spartanly furnished, no chairs for example. No drop off point for arrivals and departures, no onsite parking although discount parking 10 minutes walk away. Breakfast OK, but nothing to shout about. Well situated for central Sheffield, good Wi-Fi, friendly and helpful staff.

This is my second visit to this hotel. Everything was spot on and I have no complaints at all. Great value for money, very clean. Super comfy bed. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. Friendly staff, especially the lady at breakfast who I have met before. Love it that you are pet friendly. Everyone welcome! 5 stars.

It was a decent, comfortable stay. The bathroom smelled a bit funny upon my arrival though. Some improvements that could be made: It's a bit ironic that there are door hanger signs talking about skipping daily cleans to save the natural resources, but there were single-use disposable paper cups and wooden coffee stirrers in the rooms, which seems to me that it's just about the company saving their costs, and not the environment. It would be great if the cafe/restaurant menus were provided in the rooms! The only place I saw them was in the lift.

For the same price, Premier Hotels have much better amenities. Ibis had a kettle. Even the breakfast was meager. The bath soap was like dish soap. Horrible. The bed was ok. Will stay elsewhere next time.

Nice contemporary room in the city centre

This was a 1 night stay in Sheffield which met our needs perfectly and the hotel was exactly what we needed .The lovely receptionist who checked us in and then out again the next day was so pleasant ,thank you

Needed a clean space for one night on a budget, ease of booking and use

Good budget hotel with excellent staff and service

My partner and I had a really disappointing overnight stay at this hotel. He was playing a gig that evening and we needed somewhere to store his music gear before check-in. We tried calling the hotel several times days in advance to arrange storage for his musical gear and our bags, but couldn't get through because the phone kept ringing and the voicemail was full. Finally, after many tries, someone confirmed that storing our stuff before checking in wouldn't be a problem. When we arrived early at around 1pm, we were abruptly told there was no space in the luggage store and had to pay £10 for early check-in. We didn't want to make a scene, so I paid, but my partner asked to see the storage space just to check. Turns out, the luggage area had more than enough room, which left us feeling ripped off about the unnecessary early check-in fee. Later, after the gig, we came back with a takeaway pizza, thinking we'd sit in the lobby where there were tables and chairs. But then, a night staff member aggressively told us we couldn't eat there because it was a supposedly a "restaurant area" (even though it had gone midnight) and for paying customers only, of which there were none. To add insult to injury, he nastily remarked that our food "stinks." The room itself was fine—small but clean. However, the shockingly rude and unhelpful behavior from the staff completely ruined our experience. We definitely won’t be coming back.
