A really great hotel set in very peaceful surroundings. A 4 minutes walk to the English Gardens where the locals surf the waves. Also easily accessible from Lehen Station (10min walk). Staff were really wonderful and check was a breeze.

Nice modern hotel, staff very welcoming. Room was very clean and was serviced / towels changed every day.
Good location, quiet area approx 15 mins walk from Marienplatz which was great for xmas markets. We didnt have breakfast in hotel but used a bakery at end of street which had delicious pastries and good coffee.
Room was good but quite dark, bathroom small but good shower.
Only feedback would be pillows were not great, far too soft for us and either square or very narrow which were not easy to get used to. The main thing for us was no tea/coffee making facilities / kettle in the room, which may be usual for Germany (this was our first visit so unsure??) - but we really missed being able to make a drink on a morning or when we got back at end of day. There was a machine in the lobby area but you had to pay which is also something we found unusual as no hot drinks in the room. We booked a superior double which had a small chaise near the window but it was still quite compact.

Hotel is ideally located in a quiet street but only a short stroll to Marienplatz.

Modern and comfortable hotel , great location near Englischer Garten and close to most of the city center which is reachable by foot. Good breakfast options, large and very comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful staff, would stay again.

The parking was simple to reserve by requesting and is safe under the hotel! The staff were friendly and happily spoke English as my German isn’t the best, overall a lovely hotel well within the centre of Munich

Don’t stay here in the summer. No air conditioning and the fan supplied doesn’t help in cooling the room. Also too loud to have during the night because too noisy. We had two sleepless nights here due to the heat. Would not stay here again.
Cheaper hotels in the city who have air conditioning like the premier inn and hilton.
Also the pricing of the rooms is very confusing. I booked a premier double room and when speaking to the staff person when checking in she said I hadn’t booked a premier room so I didn’t get the kettle or a double bed.
However I checked my emails and showed her I had a premier double room and she said yes u do have a premier double room but it’s not really a premier double room. I was left confused. I booked this room in February. It seems now they have 6 superior double rooms instead.

Nice location but unforgivable that there isn’t proper air conditioning in the summer - it was almost impossible to sleep. Rooms are also smaller than expected for the price. The decor of the bar area is nice.

My wife and I chose this hotel because of its location. It is a short walk to the metro and only several minutes walk to the heart of Munich. You are literally a block away from the park. The neighborhood is quiet. There is a cute, and solid, cafe a short walk away.
The staff were excellent and very accommodating. The beds are super comfortable and the bathroom is great. It was a great stay in a great location.
There was no air conditioning in this hotel so if you go during an excessive heat, you may be uncomfortable. We happen to be staying while it was in the 70s. We had two fans in the room to keep us cool at night. I don’t think we would have been comfortable without them. The only other thing I will mention is that the door to the bathroom was a swing door that didn’t cover from doorframe to doorframe. I only mention that for people who care for such things.
Overall, we would recommend and we would stay here again….just not when it is 85* or hotter outside.

Nice, modern hotel with a good location. Good breakfast. Only downside was no A/C and since the weather was sunny the room was very very hot which made it hard to sleep even though there were fans in the room.

A very nice hotel in a beautiful area of Munich, perfectly located, closed to city center but in more authentic area almost just in front English garden. We book a mini suite, room locate at highest floor with a nice balcony but small. Service to be improved.

Lovely hotel in a good location, only 10 mins or so walk into the centre and good transport links. Hotel is clean and modern, reception very helpful with anything we needed.
Would have been 5* however there is no air con, it’s just a couple of fans in your room which after a while blow warm air! If staying in the cooler months this wouldn’t be an issue but during August it was sweltering.

spent 2 nights while attending the Adele concert. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room wasnice and clean, beds were comfortable. Location was great for English Gardens and a short walk to the old town. Only downside - no air-con, it was 29 degrees and could really do with it

A wonderful hotel with amazing helpful staff. Bar prices very reasonable and a perfect location to get around Munich. Only 350m from the nearest underground station.
The only problem we encountered was how hot the room was. Two big fans and it was still two extremely uncomfortable nights. They really need AC as this is not the best when you need to sleep.

Hotel was a great location and very modern facilities. The room decor was beautiful and the beds were comfy. However there is no air conditioning in the rooms. They have two fans in there (one of them sounds like a train going along a track). We stayed in August and it was hot. So hot we struggled to sleep at night, very uncomfortable and no respite from the heat.

Nice hotel in great location as perfect spot to explore the city. Disappointing was that there is no full air condition. Even in days of warm (not hot) temperatures, rooms have been uncomfortably warm ... also driven by small size and low ceilings in rooms.

Very stuffy and hot in June, not even a fan in the bedroom. Hotel really needs to be air conditioned as earth gets warmer. We return in September for a 5 night stay but cancelled this reservation in favor of a 4star Hotel with AC.

We really expected more from a 4 star hotel. The reception staff was pretty uninterested in us being there. Not rude but it felt like they didn’t care. The hallway leading to our rooms smelt of smoke. The rooms were small and the room design is more in line with a cheap chain hotel. It didn’t feel particularly clean either. The rooms also had no air conditioning and one room had some air cooling device plugged in, the other one didn’t. Upon request we got one from reception but it was a rather pointless as the devices just pushed the hot air through the room.
Overall we were not impressed. We had chosen the hotel because of its close proximity to the English Garden park but it’s not enough to justify the price for what is a rather mediocre hotel.

Lovely location and a well done up property however it has gone for style over practicality unfortunately
The bathroom is so small and not well designed that people on the larger side can barely use the toilet or the shower.
Even the door to the bathroom isn’t big enough and you could easily scrape yourself on the towel rail.
There is no air conditioning which makes it very uncomfortable and hot in warm weather, although there is a fan it’s tiny and more about design than being useful
Also worth noting that there are no English speaking tv channels on tv and no way to use your own casting device
