We loved the feeling and breakfast. We would´ve liked to get something extra for only staying for 4 hours. We know it was our misplanning but it would´ve been nice.

Nice, newer property with contemporary style. The beds and linens were very nice and comfortable. The outdoor areas were very nice but the rooftop terrace was too hot to enjoy. Would have liked a slightly larger safe and a coffee maker in the room.

My own reservation was for 1 night, but I stayed 4 more nights through another family member's reservation. So this review is based on my experience of 5 nights in 2 different rooms. A charming, clean, comfortable hotel with delicious breakfast included. Decorated with local art - sculptures, weavings, etc. Location is not in the heart of the tourist area but felt safe and easily walkable to our destinations within 5-30 minutes. Specifics... Rooms: Small but well-appointed. Firm double bed. Good luggage storage. Outlets & light controls on both sides of the bed. Bathroom (toilet, sink, shower) has reliable water pressure & hot water. A bottle of filtered drinking water is provided, which you refill from their filtered jug in the lobby. Breakfast: Rooms open onto courtyard with local plants & art. Outside each room is your own breakfast table. Just go to your table from 7:30-10:30am & a server comes to offer coffee, fresh cut fruit, OJ & a selection of breads. Choose from 2 typical Oaxacan breakfast dishes available that day. Adjust if needed, eg meatless. Staff: Friendly, comfortable with English, accommodating to any needs, such as calling a taxi. (From the airport you take the "colectivo" van with other people for ~120 pesos, but it doesn't go back to the airport. My return taxi arrived on time & charged the fixed airport trip price of 280 pesos, paid in cash) Other: There's a nice adjacent coffee shop if you want a drink or snack later in the day if you're nearby.

The staff was kind and very helpful. Mario was great and suggest some good places to eat.

The hotel, a 10-minute walk from the zocalo, is a very clean place to spend a few nights, with very good breakfasts, good water pressure and absorbent towels. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The room was quite compact and the wi-fi was somewhat iffy. There was also some late night/early morning noise from area dogs.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Ayook hotel, staff were friendly from the minute we arrived, the meals were traditional, simple, but excellent and delicious, the rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable, and overall the hotel is absolutely beautiful.

This hotel was such a cute place. Rooms were clean and breakfast was delicious! Walking distance to restaurants, bars, church and zocalo. The reception people were very nice and very helpful calling taxis for us. Everyone was so nice! I would definitely come back here and recommend this cute hotel.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Preferred to eat on the rooftop terrace overlooking a public park. The inner court was nicely decorated and comfortable. I missed the connecting flight from the States and missed the first night of a 2 day stay. The hotel responded to my emails quickly which was appreciated and let me check early in the morning. Would recommend. On the main drag but several blocks from the Zocolo. There are closer hotels to the action but this hotel was quiet snd lovely. A large Market is just up the street.

We had a wonderful stay at Ayook. The hotel was beautiful, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the food was delicious! When we return to Oaxaca, we will definitely be staying at Ayook again.

The bed was very confortable. Breakfast was enlightening and served fresh every morning. Staff was very friendly and provided answers to question that I had in regards to directions and activities. Overall I would stay at Ayook again.

Loved our stay here! Breakfast was tasty, the rooms are really beautiful and comfortable (the pillows are great)! The wifi is fast so if you need to work you easily can. The staff is very friendly. The ac was great too and very walkable.

No need to keep looking further, this is a gem 💎 in Oaxaca. Safe, clean, quiet, great breakfast, 10min walk to the centro, 10min walk to the main mercados. Staff very helpful with transportation, Would stay here again!

They didn’t allow us to check in with kids because they said they weren’t allowed but this was never stated on their website.

The room was kind of small but comfortable. I loved the decor. The location was not the greatest. Too many busses were parked on the street on my arrival.

The hotel was clean, conveniently located, and had decent amenities. The rooms were small which is common in this region, but had everything needed. The lobby was very pretty, and breakfast in the morning was wonderful.

Overall it was an amazing experience. Very cozy space, warm, and welcoming as well. Staff were very kind and attentive to any needs and concerns. Needed to check out later than the specified time and the staff were more than willing to accommodate for the change.
