Valet parking was a nightmare. We used the app and in many instances it took 20 to one time 30 minutes to get our car and when arriving we had to sit on street for up to 10 minutes to leave car. Very hazardous set up.

Great upscale property. However I have stayed here twice, and had a problem with valet parking both times. I pre-paid for valet parking, and the hotel charged me separately for valet parking. When I tried to dispute the charge, they responded that they had not charged me separately..? I have the statements to dispute it but it has been such a pain for something that never should’ve happened in the first place.

awful experience. Lovely hotel but there was a marathon outside that started at 6am. There was a DJ with giant speakers on the street so the music kept me up. I wasnt feeling well and the hotel staff allowed a late check out which was nice. My curtains also wouldnt shut all the way due to some buttons at the top not secured to overlap them. one other item to mention is when i ask the tstat to put the fan on high for sound and air movement, it doesnt work. it seems to be controlled from some eco setting that wont allow the fan to stay on.

It was VERY peaceful.
The only thing I regret is not going to Aura (I think that’s the name of it) while I was there. I and my boyfriend was in complete heaven. The staff was very respectable to him as he came in and left out. Didn’t harass him. The staff left us in peace. I felt sooooo safe.

Was there for music concerts. Room 1702 was fantastic excellent views. Hotel is perfect downtown location with excellent onsite restaurants.

Was very clean and the staff was very professional. Valet was excellent. Elevators were great. Hotel was very secure, not a single worry about someone gaining access to the hotel that was authorized. We were roomed on the 10th floor and traffic could still be heard all night. The area outside the hotel smelled of sewage and seemed dirty, but I think from what we could tell that was all of Charlotte. Walking was easy there, plenty of streets to get to shops and restaurants, but seemed full of homeless people begging.

We loved the proximity to museums, restaurants, and even the lynx light rail. The property was very beautiful, and the innovative elevator system was top-notch!

Nice hotel but could be cleaner. Potato chips on ground from previous guest. Bathrooms have had a lot of wear & tear. Toilet paper dispenser is falling out of the wall. Makeup and toothpaste are on wallpaper in bathroom. Staff are super nice & helpful but took about 1 hour to get bedding for pullout for kids when I had requested it in advance of our stay and again mentioned it upon checking at 8pm. After it arrived I requested extra pillow and towel but they were never delivered.

Stay was amazing! Beautiful and very clean hotel. My child and I loved our stay. The pool area is beautiful with a fantastic view.

It was okay. Only stayed one nite. The bed was horrible, plus it was not king size at all. Overall for the price it did not live up to the hype.

The checkin was great service was awesome until we checked out. We Valeted our car so we could leave quicker. We texted the valet based on the instructions on the ticket, got a text that said our car will be ready in five minutes. We came downstairs only to wait an hour to get our car. We was told three separate times the car is coming down now but it never made it. Below you will see the transactions and time stamps. Thanks to this we was late to our next appointment.

Great place but no free parking. First night was $30 to park in the adjacent parking garage. Second night was $60 (I didn't do anything different.) It made for a bitter farewell.

We found the same issue as the last time we stayed in May; the moldy, stuffy smell in the bedroom. The windows don't open, so much more attention to ventilating the room must be taken. Even the pillows smelled used & stuffy. Unacceptable for a hotel this new. We did mention this in May to the manager. We did try different rooms, but the bad smell was consistent. Also the person doing the check out was super dismissive; almost rude

This hotel is superb! Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and extremely comfortable - and I didn’t see a speck of dirt anywhere. We’ll be back!

The stay was great until I received my vehicle back from valet. One of the guys in valet hit a yellow pole and damaged my beautiful truck. My passenger side doors are dented. The damage on my truck is so ugly especially because my paint was flawless. 😢
