We had a great stay! It was clean, had everything we needed, perfect location in the center of Florence. The hotel is in the second floor.
2.5
Really great place. Location is right in the middle of everything. 3rd floor upgrade is a gem with library and rooftop patio with view of Dome etc. Everything worked at the hotel/room. Good bed, sizable room. I liked it, a good choice.
2.5
Fantastic location, steps away from the Duomo and other sites. The rooftop terrace was amazing—we sat up there for hours, drinking wine and looking out at the Duomo and Florence lit up at night.
Check-in hours are a bit restricted—you need to tell them what time you’ll arrive and you have to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs to reach the lobby. It might be difficult with small children or for people with limited mobility. Also, from other reviews, it seems like there used to be a breakfast and a terrace bar. I think both of those ended post-pandemic. There was coffee and snacks in the lobby though.

The hotel was lovely and was centrally situated for a lot of sites. The staff were friendly and very accommodating.

Loved our stay here! Great location. Staff was very flexible and helped us extend our room by a day last minute due to our trip plans changing. The rooftop library and view of Duomo were amazing!

Really cool property with a rooftop terrace view to die for!! Pack light though, stairs are a killer, but totally worth it. Staff was so friendly and helpful!!

This hotel was great for our family of 5 as everyone was able to have their own bed. The AC worked great which was important because it was 104 the days we were in Florence. The place is centrally located and felt safe.

This hotel was wonderful as was the hospitality extended to my family. This hotel is conveniently located to the areas of interest . Our room was beautiful, very clean, and included nice amenities. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great place to stay for the price, excellent location. The building is a little hard to get in if you are carrying big luggage.

It was my worst stay ever. Arrived at the hotel with my two daughters with 10 and 9 years old plus 4 suitcases and 4 backpacks. It was almost 38 Celsius degrees in Firenze. No reception downstairs. No bell boy. No elevator. We got to the stairs to the 1st floor. My kids starting complaining that the place is not well maintained and they do not want to stay there. We get into the front desk and we were informed that check in is supposed to be at 3pm. I looked into my Expedia reservation and it says it’s 2pm. Maria is able to get us into the room around 2:15pm. The air conditioning is not on and the room is very hot. Ok, we talk to the kids that this is just a matter of time. It’s 1am and the room it’s still hot. We send a message thru app to the management asking for help. No help. We received an answer in the morning that for these matters we should call to an emergency number. We decided to check out immediately as my kids said: this is not vacation. I asked to check out a day before and give back my keys at 9am. The receptionist tells me that I can’t checkout. I ask about the air conditioning that is not working. She says she will call someone to fix it. We decided to go. The elevator is broken. We need to get down by the stairs. We decided to leave not only the hotel, but Firenze. In one word: nightmare!

The hotel could not have been better located near all the best sites in Florence. Be prepared to walk a lot of steps up to your room but we had a marvelous time.

The hotel is in the perfect location in Firenze. A short walk to the major sites and great restaurants. The room was large and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. Get used to stairs and a very slow elevator. Overall terrific stay

Great location for sight seeing. Lovely staff. But very average hotel

The staff is very helpful! Room was clean and well taken care of every day. Nice location that is centrally located for popular activities like Uffizi museum and Galleria dell'Accademia and not too far from the train station.

You enter an old building with multiple businesses and take steps and then an elevator to a second floor where you go through doors to a reception. The room is basic but very clean with a great shower. The location can’t be beat.

There are a few flights of stairs that you will have to climb to get to the hotel, but other than that this place is awesome little gem in the very center of Florence. Also, the staff is very attentive and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

Classified as a hotel but it was more of an apartment room. No elevator to the ground floor, only from the first floor to the second. We travelled with an elderly couple who struggled with their luggage. There was no lobby nor bar facilities. The real benefit was its location. Very central and convenient. Ricardo and Barbara were wonderful and their support and service softened the effect of the lack of facilities. Hotels.com didn’t give enough information on the website to forewarn us of the shortcomings.

Great place to stay

Very pleasant stay at Hotel del Corso and a fantastic location in the centre of the city. The room was very comfortable and clean and the staff were all very helpful.
Only couple of things to note…the shower door was not sealed at the bottom so when you take a shower, make sure there is a towel at the bottom otherwise you’ll get a very wet bathroom floor! Secondly, if you sleep with the window open, we found it a little bit noisy with some revellers in the street at 1am. Nothing major but worth mentioning.

The hotel was in a very good location, but difficult to find on your first visit! The hotel is on the second floor up a number of steps. The lift, was not operating when we arrived and actually starts on the first floor. When it was working it was not reliable enough to use in my view, so I wouldn’t recommend its use. The staff were very helpful however which was appreciated. The rooms were ok, but if you had the windows open it was very noisy at night. The aircon unit was also suspect unfortunately!

Easy and quick check-in. Surrounded by a bunch of sights for sight seeing.

Location superb. It was clean but very noisy because of the main walking district. It was good stay.

Stairs is the only issue but great location

While if was a great location, there’s a few thing’s missing. They need clothes hooks in the bathroom since there’s no place to hang your clothes or towel while showering. Plus it could use a night-light in the electrical outlet behind the toilet. This would prevent stumbling around in the dark. The pillows were also too thin and hard. On the last night there the room above us had a lot stomping and kids running around until 3am. So it was okay, but I won’t stay there again.

Great location and great staff

Property was great. The rooftop terrace was the perfect place to unwind after a busy day of touring. Hotel room walls were a bit thin / it was loud first thing in the morning in the rooms by reception but otherwise it was clean, great location and worth the stay.

Great hotel in a great location. Walking distance to everything you need in Florence central area.
5.0
The hotel was walking distance to some of the major attractions in Florence, like Duomo Cathedral, Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi, Palazzo Pitti, Boboli Gardens, and Piazza della Signoria. Just the most amazing rooftop terrace to allow you to see Florence from above. We had amazing times at the hotel, the fact that was so conveniently located, allowed us to cover several Florence attractions in a short amount of time. Can’t wait to stay there again.

Charming apartment/hotel in a great location

The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful.

The place is very nice. It is built in a very old building so it matches the Florence style. Inside every accommodation is modern like the bathroom and the air conditioner. It is very nice how they kept the old touches but managed to modernize the place to make it very comfortable. The only problem was the sofa bed. That was imposible to sleep on if you open it. For one person is better to keep it close. Otherwise everything great. Great location.
