Excellent accommodations but not that close to train station

We are family of 4 (2 adults and 2 11 yrs old). We stayed here for 3 nights. This place met all our expectations. Staffs were super helpful and friendly. We arrived early and our room was not available. They held our luggage for us and moved it in our room when room became available. We loved our room. Room is spacious, clean. Has mini fridge, microwave, dish ware, utensils, small stove top, 1 king bed, bunk bed, washer and dryer for laundry, dining table and toilet and shower is in separate rooms. They do not clean the room but you can have your towels change daily by placing your dirty ones in the basket outside your door every morning before 11am. Trash you can place your bin in front of your door and it will be emptied. There is a food court nearby, delicious restaurants and a Family Mart at the corner. Bonus hotel offers a one way shuttle bus to Kinkakuji temple. Make reservation a day before. Bus 28 across the street will take you to Bamboo Forest. 20 walk from Kyoto Station. Highly recommend staying there if you are in town and we would stay here again.

Clean hotel with friendly staff. It's not as close to Kyoto station as I thought, 15 minutes plus walk. There are a few options to eat nearby. They had a free bus drop-off service to kinkakuji which was nice. Overall, good place to stay for 2-3 people.

Pros: Very clean, well stocked, courteous, friendly, good size for families, convenience store next door, great for long term stays, private. Cons: No material cons to report except I found it to be a significant and confusing walk from Kyoto Station.

The apartment is nice, clean and well equipped. The staff are nice and helpful. There are bus stops nearby the hotel and one can get to the main attractions via buses easily. In addition, the hotel is one or two bus stops away from Kyoto station. Alternatively, it takes about 10 minutes to walk to Kyoto station. There are many restaurants and gift shops in Kyoto station.

Good stay, very nice staff. Extra supplies if needed easily accessible at the front desk. Would have appreciated second pillow or different pillow option as the ones provided are more traditional pillows that take some getting used to. Hotel is well located, about 10 minute walk from Kyoto Station. Buses pass by regularly. Across the street from a nice temple to visit.

Good stay, excellent front desk staff

Hotel was clean and family room was spacious for 4 adults. Staff were professional and friendly. Having a washer/dry in the room was very convenient. Supplied pillow was awful - small and lacked volume and height. Had to use the cushion instead. The hotel changed its name to include 'Kyoto Station' which I find to be misleading as the hotel is more than 1km away from the station and made using the trains a difficult process (buses are slow in Kyoto) so we had to resort to taxis instead.

My family really loved this place. It’s next to a bus stop and a 10 minute walk from Kyoto Station. The staff were beyond kind and the room was big. We had a kitchen and a very nice bathroom. I loved the sauna as well. I used it daily. We rented bikes nearby and rode around the city. FamilyMart is less than a 30 second walk. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very centralised, easy to walk to public transport. Close Familymart for last minute dinner options, or to purchase snacks. Helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend for families.

We enjoyed this self catering accommodation that was still walkable to Kyoto station in about 10 minutes.

Concierge is very helpful all the time.

We stayed in a large basement unit. It had a mini kitchenette. We also got to use the saunas that were available to reserve for an hour a day. It was a pleasant surprise to be have a whole other area for relaxation. Loved the washer/dryer combo in the unit.

Hotel was nice & quiet, room was big & washer/dryer in room was convenient.

Walking distance from Kyoto station. Quiet n comfortable place to stay. Provides free shuttle bus to Kinkaju-ji Temple. Nearby bus stop has bus to kiyomizu Temple n Arashiyama bamboo forest. Staff are nice n friendly. There is a family mart beside the property for food n drinks. Great

Super friendly, super accommodating staff. Amazing location. Our family of four people each had plenty of space for sleeping, and we took advantage of the free-to-use in-room laundry machine.

We loved our stay here. Very nice set up for family of four. Close to bus stops that got us everywhere we wanted to go. Plenty of taxis in the area. 12 minute walk to Kyoto station. There was a big temple right across the street Which was a cool surprise. Not too many restaurants Right near Hotel, but easy to get to areas with lots of options. Only recommendation to the hotel is that the blinds need to be dusted.

Very nice front desk receptionists

An aparthotel well equipped with fridge, microwave etc, very convenient for preparation of food bought from the 7-11 next door. Local temple across the road from the hotel is a great place to visit. Bathroom amenities very good and modern, typical small Japanese bath. Washing machine also available. Overall a decent standard for the price, thoroughly recommend.

Nice room but not much to do in this area

This was a fantastic choice for our first visit to Japan. Very clean. Larger room than expected. Staff was very helpful, even with language barrier communication was not a problem. The. Staff was out of this world. We cannot say enough how they helped us with taxis, walking directions and anything we needed! Love it!

Overall the staff were good and courteous.

Vey nice apartment with kitchenette that easily held 3 people. Small stove, fridge, pot and pan, some dish ware. Right next to a 24 hour combini (convenience store) and 15-20 min walk to Kyoto Station.
