Horrible stay, the worst I’ve had in Japan by far. The staff was very rude, cleaners kept knocking incessantly early in the morning, and no other hotel ever charged me for a late checkout. They provided only a thick comforter in the middle of the summer and it was impossible to sleep

The design of hotel which is inspired by traditional Japanese culture was matched with the Kenrokuen and castle in the neighborhood. The service was excellent. Both my boyfriend and I enjoyed staying there.

The hotel is quite near most tourist spots. It is easily accessible too by taking public transports. The only problem is that we couldn’t park our car in the hotel after 10pm. There are other parking lots though near the hotel.
