Dad and I found this home to be a great place to put up our feet after long days of taking in all the area sites. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We will check availability the next time we are out this way.

The house location was fantastic! We saw deer everyday in the pasture and the neighborhood was quiet. The lock didn't like to cooperate so took several tries but it worked! Not sure where a 5th person would sleep, but the beds were very comfortable and the hosts were very accommodating! The central location to all the tourist sites was great!!!

We didn't spend much time in the property, but it was nicely setup and comfortable. The area is really nice and feels very secluded even though it is a short distance from everything in Rapid.

Tucked up Cleghorn Canyon, this gem of a house is a perfect setting for a relaxing time in Rapid City. While technically in the city, don't be alarmed if a small herd of turkeys or deer saunter through the yard. We look forward to staying here again.

The location has easy access to downtown coffee, dining and whatever. It's very quiet with turkey and deer in the driveway. It is very clean and has comfortable beds, but bring your own coffee. :-))

This was our first time visiting South Dakota and we loved seeing the deer, turkeys, rabbits. We loved the quietness. We will definitely return.

We enjoyed staying in this house while in Rapid City visiting family. It was very clean and comfortable and the hosts were responsive. I appreciated the laundry in the basement. Super close to Rapid City a quiet location.

This was a nice comfortable place to stay and was a very nice location for our travels. We originally planned for 5 people to stay there, but ended up with 4. If you do have 5, it could be a bit tight unless you have very small children.

This property is in a great location for seeing the Black Hills sites. House is located on a no outlet road which meant minimal traffic and quiet. The inside of the house was immaculate wirh the feel of a newly built house. Owners are very responsive to answering questions that were submitted. Great place and locatin.

As always, the stay at this lovely home exceeded our expectations. The owners are the most kind, accommodating, responsive people!! The home continues to be clean, comfortable, and cozy!! The beds and bedding are top of the line!! The towels are luxurious and they even have soft blankets for snuggling while watching a movie!!Everything you need will be there for you. I cannot say enough about this location!!!

Amazing property, good price for simply how well stocked the home is. Love the guest book and little map of previous visitors as well. Owner left a cap for a free beer at a local brewery. Loved the whole experience. Will definitely be back next year!

Wonderful "home" base for all our adventures in the Black Hills. Met and exceeded our expectations. Beautifully supplied house, even down to fluffy towels and cozy blankets!! Kevin was so helpful, giving us suggestions as to where to visit and what to see. Quiet neighborhood with turkeys and deer to visit! Would highly recommend this wonderful place. Thanks again Kevin for making our time in the Black Hills so special.

Great experience! Completely renovated house. It was very clean, great beds, kitchen supplied with everything we needed and more. Any questions we had were answered quickly. Great folks to work with. We would highly recommend this house for a small family or 2 couples.

This greatly appreciated property was more than we were hoping for! The house was extremely clean, very comfortable, and well organized. We cooked 2-3 meals a day for our family of 5, and the kitchen was perfectly stocked. It was easy to communicate with the owners as problems unassociated with the property arose during our stay. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful as we enjoyed watching the deer and turkey meander through. After being involved with a vacation rental business for the past 7 years, it was extremely evident that Kevin and Kim have put so much time, care, and love into making this sweet house a special home away from home!

Such a wonderful, quiet and peaceful cottage just outside of town. Description is highly accurate, home was recently updated, super clean, with all the amenities we need for our 4 night stay. Super comfortable living room and beds, very nice linens and thick towels. Easy access to the Black Hills, 3 minutes to Canyon Lake Park, 8 minutes to Baken Park area for groceries, restaurants, and less than 15 min to downtown. Perfect for our needs, thank you!

A five star rating all the way around. Magnificent hosts who go the extra mile to make your stay welcoming and comfortable!! From the moment you open the front door you will find that they have thought of everything and then some! We have truly found a gem and will be back for future visits with fingers crossed that it is available!! Meticulously clean, excellent bedding, comfortable furnishings, absolutely everything you need in the kitchen, a lovely neighborhood and yard, and host thoughtfulness around every corner!!! A huge thank you to our hosts!!!
