The hotel was nice the rooms were spacious and was convenient to walk to Disneyland however the explanation of parking an additional car to the garden walk was miscommunicated and my car was ransacked. Admittedly I said i had locked my car overnight but when i packed up to leave front desk said the only camera they had was only facing the gate at the parking lot entrance so i had some shoes and sunglasses stolen. They were only able to waive the $25 parking fee and nothing else. Couldn’t consider filing a police report since there wasn’t any damage to the car on the exterior but there was stain on the driver seat that i unfortunately had to cover and sit on to drive home. The stay was nice but if everything didn’t happen the way it did i would’ve given at least stars but definitely upsetting.

I liked how close (5min) walk to Disney and my kids loved the water park and beds were comfy. Parking wasn’t bad but you do have to pay. Even though they told me there was no deposit, when I got there it was a very small deposit ($20). Evelyn was so nice and we were able to check in an hour early which was nice! Our hotel was in building 3 and it looked old. Carpet was dirty. Our bathroom looked old and had a weird smell. Dresser was dirty. Hotel needs an upgrade.

It was the perfect distance from Disneyland. The kids loved the pool. I do think there was too much chlorine in it because my eyes always started to sting when I went swimming. The staff at the front desk were always friendly and helpful.

From a distance the toom looked clean but there were spider webs up on the ceiling and the AC took forever to cool down the room. I even had to ask for a fan.

Had 2 connecting rooms. Hotel was very accommodating. This was a return trip. Ants!!! Our car was invaded by ants! I had read in a review that it had happened to someone else there and didn’t think much of it. Well are car got hit hard. The whole ride home ants everywhere! Or bags the food we brought home, you name it. 2nd negative. Having a life guard staring at you the whole time in the pool made it for an uncomfortable time at pool. My daughter who was 17 was so uncomfortable being stared at that she left and didn’t return the rest of our stay. I know they have him there to monitor for mostly people who are not staying there. But there has to be a better way. At times he was rude. And the lifeguards at the water park could have been nicer. So that was a take away. But the rooms and staff at front desk were great. Lifeguards could use some work. Only reason I would not come back. So see in the winter!

Everything was really good, super close to Disneyland, children love the pool and water park, only problem was there was a mildew smell at our room.

This is a great place to take your little ones to the hotel room is clean. Everything is walkable distance we walked to Disneyland we walked for breakfast, and lunch. We walked back from Disneyland at night and felt safe.I will definitely stay again.

This is a fantastic hotel for families who want quick access to Disneyland. We booked a family suite with a king-sized bed and bunk beds for our two kids, which turned out to be essentially two hotel rooms that are connected. The kids got their own separate bathroom, which was great. We spent a day playing at the pool, where they had life guards posted to watch out for kid safety. They also have a store with basic necessities (like goggles, if your kid forgot theirs!) The hotel itself is fairly dated. When we got there, the microwave, fridge, and coffee maker were not getting power and we had to call the front desk. They responded quickly and fixed the problem within 30 minutes. While there is an AC, it is not super robust - the lowest you can set it is 65 and it definitely never actually cools to that temperature. We set it to 69 when we slept but one morning we woke up at 5:45 because it had stopped working and we were sweating at 75 degrees. It seemed to come back on at around 8 AM. Not sure what that was about, but we definitely had one very sleep-deprived day in Disneyland. Overall, for the price and location plus the family suite, this place was a great deal and we would go there again.

Both the waterpark and the pool were very good for our kids to rest and play in between visits to the Disneyland parks, which are at walking distance

Enjoyed the water park and how close of a walk it is to Disney entrance

It was noise, because it is on the side of the freeway. The coffe maker didn’t work. I got a room with two huge windows on the side of the ceiling so we couldn’t sleep in late in the morning. On the kids pool 2 games weren’t working.We decide to leave a night before your check out. We paid more than $200 a night it wasn’t worth it.

Was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was, how walkable to Disney (less than 10 mins) and how lovely the staff was. Front staff Rachel was amazing. So helpful and wonderful truly with our kids. The waterpark was amazing on a hot day. Wish I had booked an extra day to relax in between Disney. Would definitely go back.

Pro: close to Disneyland The mini water park Con : I order two queens and I got two double The free internet is the worst. It open to dns attack the speed 1 kilobyte pre sec( slower than dialup) the cell phone reception area is LTE two bar I could go on on about cons. I won’t stay here again.

Property was 10 min walking distance to Disneyland. Rooms were clean. Customer service was okay. Ground keepers were not friendly. Outside property had an ant infestation. My car was covered inside and on the hood with ants. Management accused me of having food droppings in my car due to traveling with young kids, which attracted the ants which was not true. We missed our last day at Disneyland because it took hours to clean our car and multiple washes at a nearby car wash to get rid of the ants including purchasing several bottles of ant spray. Ants were still in our vehicle. We checked out late because we had to clean our vehicle again at the car wash and was charged late check out fee. We were exhausted from having to scrub our vehicle 5 to 6 times prior to leaving Cali headed home. Almost fell asleep behind the wheel multiple times. A 4 hour drive to our first stop for the evening took 8 hours. We traveled back to Colorado with ants still in our car. Management waived the parking fees which we're grateful for but blamed us for the ants and it was on their property. I do not recommend staying here as they do not hold themselves accountable for their bug infestation. Ground keeper did mention they were aware of the ant problem and was planning to take care of the issue. Management denied it. I will never, ever stay here again or any Howard Johnson establishment.

Nice hotel

Me and my family enjoyed our stay but wished we could’ve checked in earlier and checked out later. They offered it for an extra 30 each and we had requested it and when we arrived to check in early they said our room wasn’t available till 3 luckily there was a lot of restaurants so we just dinned in till 3 pm my kids enjoyed the pool and the play ground area especially the assign seating in the kids area. When it came to check out I was hopping that had gotten approved but it didn’t SO WHY EVEN OFFER IT. when it was around 10:20 am maintenance knocked and by the time I went to the door she had opened it herself and just apologized and closed it which we didn’t mind because we were already packed up and ready to go. Got charged 12 dollars x3 for “long distance” because my kids were calling their grandma to check up on her. Parking was good, facility was clean loved the fact the swimming areas had towels and life vest for kids. Rachel made checking in so easy and explained everything so well!

The hotel is good for kids to have fun only thing I didn’t like is that you have to wear a wristband in order to enter the pool and the water playground also they charge you for parking is not included with your stayed and pretty much you get charge for a lot of things if you want to check out late and some other things.

Very clean, cute, and accommodating. The staff was very friendly. The rooms seemed very quiet! For a hotel with children and families staying in it, that was awesome and made for a great night’s sleep. Hoping to come back September!

Once we walked into Building 4, we were greeted by the overwhelming stench of urine. The smell was all through the hallways and into the guest rooms. Not only did the room smell, but it was decades out of date and completely unwelcoming — old appliances, no decor/artwork. We don’t need fancy accommodations, especially considering that we’d be gone from the room for the majority of our stay, but we absolutely could not handle the odor or subject our kids to those conditions. The front desk was willing to try and resolve our issue by moving rooms, but unfortunately they couldn’t guarantee a room for a second night. As a result, we checked out almost immediately after entering the room. The overwhelming smell was too much. (It lingered on our clothes and hair for hours.) On our way out of the building we saw a huge cockroach. Yuck.

Amazing hotel and pool for kids

The parking lot could be bigger, we had a hard time finding spaces for our 2 cars (we had 2 rooms.) plus a few more luggage racks avail for guest use would also be great. Everything else was top notch and great.

The Hotel staff was very professional and friendly. We ended up having to change rooms because the room we originally got was very warm. The AC was not working correctly and we found what looked to be mold on the window unit. It was a renovated bigger room with King bed and bunkbed, so that was disappointing and concerning. Called the front desk and the gentleman was very kind. Luckily there was another room available in another renovated building, but unfortunately since we wanted a bunkbed for my son, we only had a choice of a smaller room. No big deal, we were there for Disneyland and just wanted a nice, clean and cool bed to sleep in. The mini water park was a plus as well!!
