The property was well positioned with regard to the city, the station and access to the airport. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant, clean and comfortable as well as being well serviced. The property was handy to a range of dining alternatives as well as a laundrette.

The common areas are nice and the employees friendly, but the Clasique and Superior rooms needed an urgent refresh 20 years ago.
I simply cannot understand how this place is alowed to keep 4 stars... With the exception of the executive room, the rest are extremely dated and the bathroom condition and age was simply unacceoptable. The 1st room we got had oil on the carpet (sofa bed, we assumed) and the staff moved us to another one wich was "ok" but still way below the expectations. The staff confimed that all the non-executive rooms were the same.
Regarding the room, the bed was confortable and clean. TV was very small, minibar didnt work and the rest of the room (particularly the carpet) felt very old and not properly mantained or cleaned. The room smelled old.
The bathroom was clearly the worst. Absurdly dated (probably 50+ years) not well maintained and the cherry on top: the bath had a shower curtain instead of a screen.
There is basically no load/unload area, as there were cars parked there. The closest car park is relatively modern and convenient but didnt have security and in general didnt feel safe at least on a weeked day.
We stayed one night and cancelled the rest. We did not enjoy our stay nor did we use any additional services. We basicaly stayed 9 hours between checkin and out.
I would not recommend unless staying on a executive room (that is basically a standard 4* hotel room) and will absolutely not stay again.

Fantastic location 5 min. riverside walk from the very historical center. I have never seen so many open pubs and restaurants on appox. one square km and so many people enjoying their services. It was very nice to see so many happy people together especially after 18 months of covid war.

Great location. Short stroll to the Castle. Quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of Nantes night life so perfect for us. Breakfast was scrumptious.

Hotel was accommodating and has a very nice dining area. Room was large but slightly dated. Charging outlets were hard to find within the room layout. Right next to the conference center so a bit of noise coming from those coming and going.

Next to the Congress center this hotel is in a great location and 10 minutes walk from the centre of the city.

Nice clean hotel a 5-10 minute walk from the rail station/airport shuttle and 15/10 mins from the shops. It’s right on the Cité des Congrés site, which was very quiet when I stayed but I’m guessing can get quiet noisy when a show is on. The restaurant on site is a bit pricey. Buffet breakfast is excellent, great variety and lovely food. I stayed in a family room with my two children, which consisted of a king size bed and two single beds (sofa bed). The room was ok in size with a WC separate from the bathroom. Staff were polite and professional. Would use again.

Novotel Nantes Centre Gare is a hotel in a good location, about a 10 minute walk from the main shopping and restaurant area. The hotel has friendly and helpful staff who were more than happy to help us navigate the area. The hotel is also a 10 minute walk from the Nantes train station and car rental spots at an affordable price, which is why we chose to stay at this hotel. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. I would stay in Novotel Nantes Centre Gare again when visiting Nantes.

Friendly and helpful staff. Really good room, working aircon, fridge, powerful shower. Great view from the room too. Excellent breakfast included with lots of choice. Convenient location for railway station and town centre.

Clean basic rooms, the sofa bed was uncomfortable, we had a room with a double and two singles, we expected the singles to be proper beds but it was a pull out sofa bed.I guess for the £67 for a night we could not have expected sny more. The food was nice but the wine from the bar was expensive.

Very conveniently placed hotel, in a quiet spot, for a visit to Nantes. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel although it's not too far to walk either. Large, clean rooms and a good restaurant and bar. There is a public underground car park with a lift that brings you to the hotel entrance so convenient for transporting luggage. I would use this hotel again if visiting Nantes.

The room at the Nantes Novotel was decorated in grey, with a picture of purple square on the wall. It was depressing beyond belief. The lighting was harsh and glary. The toilet was just like a grey concrete box. For two people, there was only one towel placed in the bathroom, the tea and coffee sachets were designed for choice by one person only and had nothing anyone would usually choose to drink. The hotel was much further out of the city than the description suggested and the tram was a fair walk over the bridge and a little uneasy as a walk after a meal out since there were lots of drunks and down and outs. Just don't stay there. Simple as.

My granddaughter were in Nantes for only a few day. We came in by train, and found the hotel easily. My granddaughter was not feeling well and the staff were extremely helpful finding a doctor for us, even though it was the middle of summer and most doctors were on holidays.
I would recomend the hotel to anyone.

No complaints at all, this hotel was ideal for for the family and great breakfast. We stayed for only 1 night before travelling again. Extremely handy for train/bus station and only 5 mins walk. In the business district but only 5 mins walk over bridge and into town to the Castle and Cathedral.

I have recently come back from a 3 day trip to nantes , nantes is a lovely place with plenty to do and see. I was extremely pleased with the hotel and staff who were very friendly and helpful. Many of the staff spoke very good english . it was an all round excellent trip and i would highly reccomend this hotel and nantes as a place to visit . the japanese gardens are certainly worth visiting ,and if you enjoy walking , it is a good walk . But the tram (tan) takes you there and you can pick up the tram outside the hotel.

Excellent hotel for an overnight stop before travelling on. Easy to find and get to from the airport and ample underground parking which was public parking but reasonably priced. Staff were superb and I only had booked one night on our inbound day as I always like to keep options open for the return if I don't like the hotel. I did book for the night on our return day and they matched the internet price when I asked. Breakfast great and its right on the edge of the old town so you can walk into the beautiful canal area of Nante in a few minutes. A good experience overall.

Stayed here overnight on the way back to Blighty, everything about is top class, the kids especially enjoyed the complimentary xbox & mac computer.
Breakfast & dinner were very nice and served efficiently.

Picked this hotel as it was one of the few with vacancies during the rugby world cup. Was pleased with the choice. Very convenient location - short walk to the centre, also short walk to the tram stop for the stadium and bus stop for the airport. Hotel was clean, room was spacious, and staff were friendly and helpful. Only complaint would be that the bathroom in our room was poorly designed so the floor got soaked everytime you had a shower. Breakfast was okay but nothing special.
