Comfortable beds, great location. Would be nice to have some hooks near the door for hanging coats. The water tank made a really loud sound from the pipes once the toilet flushed. Could be annoying in the night but apart from that, it’s a nice budget option. Would stay again for sure

An ok experience and nothing more. Room was clean but the shower head just dribbled. Paying £90 wirmth breakfast should include a reasonable shower spray. This probably should have been replaced many months ago and is replaceable for £10. A bit lazy or just poor budgetary constraints?
Breakfast tasty with a reasonable selection, but could be improved with fried or poached egg options, not just microwaved scrambled. Lavazza coffee was good, but would've been better had there been milk in the machine to make the flat whites and lattes on offer.

Good location. Quiet. Helpful staff. Clean and tidy rooms, comfortable beds, all amnesties provided. Bathroom door was awkward in our room which was a pain but otherwise no issues and would stay again.

Its very convenient for the bus and train station but in a very poor part of the city with lots of homeless sleeping rough outside which makes it a bit scary walking too and from the hotel. The hotel inside is lovely and has all mod cons.

The hotel was very accessible to the city centre, station and theatre. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean.

The room was nice and clean. Nice staff and breakfast (hot and cold). On the minus side is the area around the hotel, but easy to reach by foot from the train station.

No AC and room is extremely hot. You can't sleep with the window open due to loud trams and boy racers so not very comfortable.

For a ‘budget’ hotel, this is a brilliant place to stay. Spacious room and bathroom. Lovely staff. If I return to Sheffield, I’d definitely book here again.

quick efficient friendly check in- nice room overlooking tramway bridge (but not noisy even when tram broke down at 23.00 !). comfortable bed and efficient shower, great brekky including black pudding. easy Uber to United for gbp 5 ((and back) round corner from tram stop - 5 mins walk to bus station- 10 to train station- thoroughly recommend

Myself and my son enjoyed our visit, location for competing at ponds is amazing as only a couple minutes walk and Q-Park is next door. Staff were all friendly and my son loved the buffet breakfast

Love staying here very convenient staff always very helpful only downside rooms get very hot & no air conditioning, fans supplied but still very hot. Don’t normally stay at this time of year & would have to think twice about returning in the summer months.

You cannot have the window open during the night, due to the sound of traffic and the trams. Given it was a very warm night when I was there this made things very very uncomfortable. Air conditioning Would’ve helped a lot

The Ibis is cheap, cheerful and clean. While the area around it is a little on the rough side, it is fairly central so easy to get to restaurants, bars, etc.
The only downside is the lack of air conditioning and fans not provided as standard in every room. It was absolutely roasting!

The room was too hot . The air conditioning blew out warm air we could not get it lower than 16 do didn’t use it . We slept with window open but it was very noisy. Trains and traffic noise which possibly would have been blocked out if we could have closed window .
We couldn’t get the bathroom door to shut properly .
The positive was it was clean beds comfortable .Receptionist very helpful despite us arriving after 12 midnight .

The hotel was in a good location however the rooms were incredibly hot due to them having no AC. The towels had holes in and so did the curtains.
The have parking near by but I wasn't made aware of the discount parking until i asked reception after checking in and i didnt recieve an email regarding this until 2am when I was already in the hotel. This has then caused parking issues and the car park taking an overrun parking payment.

The main issue was that the room didn't have air conditioners and the air was unbreathable. The reception gave as a fan however the room was very hot, the bed was burning us in the night.... do not talk about how sweaty we were in the night hours.

The staff were polite and professional. The room was like sleeping in a green house. I had to have the window open as far as it could which isn’t much and to get any air in the room I had to open the curtains which was not much use as it was light by 5am. Terrible nights sleep and would probably not stay here again for that reason.

Perfect location for Ponds Forge, only 200 m walk. Great price. Clean with nice staff. No aircon but fans available. Half price car parking next door at Castlegate.

Room comftable, just a bit warm, no air con but they have fans at reception, bed comfy and breakfast was very good with a good variety. Close to train station also tram stops and local amenities.
