The room was dirty. There was someone else’s hair in the bed. There was a bottle of water on the table without no indication of being changed. But they charged 4Euro for it. It was like a trap. It made us very unhappy for the small money. I will NEVER choose this hotel again.

Great location next to metro station and near a tram stop. Bar area was OK and staff were good. Room was big but dated with dirty carpet. Bathroom.... The shower cubicle was covered in thick black mould and grime.... I have stayed all over the world and never seen a shower cubicle in such a state.... It was that bad that my daughter refused to use it.

Stayed there for 8 nights. Every morning i complained about the fact the water at shower was cold. No fix, and they were not even apologetic. Bad pillows. Good location, particularly if you are going to Messe.

just a short walk from the station 20mins and the same to the altstrat only had a room option because we prefer to have breakfast at different places.2nd visit to the city this was a closer walk into the city than last year. would recomend

Close to Train and shops. 10 Euros for cold breakfast Rooms were small and out dated no tea or coffee facilities

Location was close to public transport, supermarket and cafe. Bedcovers a little dated. Bathroom nice and new. Would have been great to have had a mini fridge in the room.

We were put in an attic room. The lift didn’t even go to that floor. The room was stifling and had no air conditioning. The room was grubby and room service didn’t do anything other than change the towels

Television in both rooms did not work - reported on the first day but nobody came to see about it during our stay. On the first day we also reported an ashtray on our balcony that appeared to be full of sick. It was cleared the following day. Also a sex toy under the wardrobe - disgusting. Uncomfortable in rooms as very hot with no air conditioning - but we knew this before booking. Photos of the above can be supplied. The hotel is good value for money in an ideal location. Just a shame the service and cleanliness were poor

Its near the Alstadt and close to the metro system.Good value for money. Yes its a bit dated in terms of furnishings but that adds to its charm .

Nice long weekend in Dusseldorf using this hotel. A very nice place to stay indeed, room was very clean and comfortable. Dusseldorf centre about 20 minutes walk away.

Hotel is an old one apparently, with carpets and old-style decoration. It is okay to stay, amazing location indeed with good connections. However, the carpets need proper cleaning - they smell. Also, the laundry stays right at the entry of the hotel, making the lounge look horrible and even darker than it is.

It was lovely. Great location, wonderful shops / restaurant near by. Few minutes walk to the main train station. Rooms are comfy and relaxing nice and clean, and quiet. I like it. I am proud of Expedia for allowing such a wonderful business people to be associated with. 👍👍 I highly recommend this hotel to all. Whoever travel to this this.

This hotel has no air conditioning and on the hot days we were there it was very uncomfortable. In this day and age I would expect air conditioned room in the summer just as I would expect warm rooms in the winter. The fan provided in the room was very small and totally inadequate. As. Minimum I would expect 2 ceiling fans. The decor and the standard of the furnishings in the room was very good there was a small fridge but no iron, kettle or tea making facilities. In the evening we were there there was only one staff member on duty, hence we had to wait to book in until the bar guests had been served. The location is very good, close to the Altstadt. There are public transportation systems close by but not with a direct line to the airport. A taxi to the airport was 22 Euro very reasonable.

Older style decor but exceptionally clean. The smart tv was not so smart!! It would not change channel and was stuck on a bible program. If you met me you would know bible bashing is not my thing......not so smart tv! Seriously, however the tv was frustrating. The towel change man wouldn’t take come back later when we had a lie in until 9.45am one morning!! However, desk staff very helpful and the place was very clean.

Helpful and friendly staff, central location with the elevator of the subway lbeing less than 50m across the road. Very good value for money breakfast buffet.

The hotel was amazing value for money, it was well-equipped and clean. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We had breakfast on one of the mornings which was delicious and was very reasonably priced.

Nice room, good location, quite, clean. I was there only for one night, but it was a really nice place to stay. Breakfast was not included and was quite expensive, but you can also go somewhere else for breakfast. The room was extremely inexpensive.

3 day pre xmas break with another couple. Easy access from aiport about 10-15 mins in taxi 28 euros. About 10 minute walk through park to the old town where all the xmas markets are dotted about ( made all the better because it snowed. Thoroughly enjoyed the shopping, food and bars. ( just had to keep refueling with gluwheinn due to the cold !!!! )

Breakfast was good, although a bit pricy for what it was. Room was good, albeit a bit dated. The hotel staff was excellent. The room was quiet and cleaned.

The hotel is reasonably priced and centrally located. Just be mindful that there are no 'comforts' ie kettle, tea, coffee etc. There is water in the room but I hadn't noticed that it's comes at a cost of 4 euros. The room was very hot and stuffy. I managed to get a fan from reception but I had to keep it all 24/7. One particular member of staff was extremely helpful. You can easily get the underground or walk into the centre with about 15 mins.

Can only say the Hotel has been refurbished to excellent standard and Staff were excellent in every respect. All reception Staff were faultless.

Very convenient location, nice staff and great breakfast. But the room fixed line has problem always I need to come downstairs to talk to the reception.

I was quite annoyed as I could not get good sleep at this hotel. Every morning at around 8 people would start banging on the floor above us. I called front desk and asked them what that noise was and they told me it was maintenance work being carried out. I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and this noise was all 4 days and would start at exactly 8 in the morning and continue all day. What annoyed me more was when I called front desk to tell them this and ask them if they could stop the work and do it later in the day they very rudely told me that they cannot. I told them I could not sleep and they said thats not their problem and that i had all night to sleep. So i told them i came back really late at around 5AM and went to bed and have slept for little over 2 hours only. But they said thats not their problem if I did not sleep in the night. I have stayed in many hotels and have never experienced hotel staff this rude instructing me about my sleep schedule. I will never go back to this hotel even if they give me a free room.
