This is a beautiful hotel with comfortable beds and lots of room. But the room, at least mine, was located directly above a nightclub. It was unbearably loud until nearly 3 am. Absolutely impossible to sleep. Now, I understand this noise isn’t the hotel’s fault, but it is their fault not to notify guests of the situation prior to booking. They should also keep some ear plugs on hand to give to guests.

Our stay at Imperial was excellent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Particularly Ali and Adrianna and a special thank you to Brenda for our room upgrade! We didn’t mention it, but we are on a 40 day European tour to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Thank You,

Stay here in a part of historic - where Michael Collins and JFK stayed. Gorgeous old hotel, very well maintained. Highly recommended

Our room was small. The sheets and wall was dirty. The fuse blew the first night so we had no electricity the first night. The staff did repair the problem quickly once reported.
We also had tea at the hotel which was very disappointing. The cost was 45 per people and there were no choices. One server was vacuuming the floors during our tea service.

We arrived from a long drive and found it difficult to pull up in front of the hotel, around 3 times before we could stop to unload. Parking was quite a long walk away. The hotel interiors were comfortable enough and the breakfast was good. The location, especially if you don't have a car is great for getting around. Cork was a bit confusing for a tourist, generally ok.

Charming hotel situated near restaurants, shopping and sites in Cork. Attentive staff, spacious rooms. Hotel has a tremendous history spanning over 200 years.

Don’t get cat fished by the pictures. This place is old which is cool but it is way over priced and beat. We stayed at some high end very old hotels in Ireland and this one sucked. Don’t pay over $150 for this place.

The parking is about an 8 minute walk away. Around 3 to 4 NYC blocks away.

Loved this hotel for old school charm, a lovely comfortable room and a stunning coffee shop. All the staff were so friendly and the hotel is very well situated. We had a great time and the sun shone!!

It’s a nice hotel with good onsite dining. Just know the hotel is in a busy urban area and the parking garage is blocks away and it’s hard to get a spot out front for unloading.

Decent hotel located in the middle of a busy pub and shopping area. A/C in the rooms was terrible, warm all night. Parking is a joke, need two tickets, which the front desk does not tell you and the parking garage is located a 15 minute walk away. Luckily the garage security guard was very nice ans said the hotel does this all the time, he let us out without the 2nd ticket.

Nice hotel, very clean, staff very friendly. Only a couple of issues we were not happy with, $17.50 to park in their in building parking garage per night and the A/C in the rooms was basically non-existent.

Fabulous hotel, everything spotless. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly, couldn’t do enough for us and so helpful with the car parking/luggage etc. umbrellas for rent such a good idea. Brilliant spot for city centre. Will definitely be back

The hotel is absolutely lovely!! Over 200 years old and reflects the history. The location is perfect enjoying all Cork has to offer.

Good location but they don’t offer valet and you have to drive over to a fairly close car park with a special code. Middle of town makes it very difficult to unload or park to check in/out. If you like a party town atmosphere that’s the perfect spot, if you want quiet and calm I’d look somewhere else in town away from downtown.

This Upmarket Hotel full of Irish History is in an ideal central location situated in the heart of Cork City Centre
I had dinner in the Restaurant and ate the most delicious tender steak I had ever eaten in my life.

Imperial is a stunning hotel. The rooms were clean and comfy and staff were super friendly and helpful. Only downside is parking is a 5 minute walk away so be mindful of this. There is a small spot to unload right outside the hotel but it’s often occupied by other guests checking in. Fantastic location, close to all the main stores and restaurants.

Old city hotel. Pretty architecture. As such, parking was tough, and no valet (at least at the time we checked in) Garage was a long distance from hotel. But we should have checked that out ourselves. Old world charm was great just tough with large luggage!

The Hotel was very nice, historic, and has a lot of nice qualities. However, what I was REALLY impressed with was the front desk staff. I worked with several different people over the stay (nothing to do with the hotel stay) and each person was personable, professional, and eager to help. Great experience.
The room was just ok. I have stayed at other "historic" properties (just one example: Waldorf-Astoria) and this room good, but just not great.
For the price, I might find another hotel now that I have had the experience. However, that has nothing to do with the hotel or the staff, just the price to value.

We enjoyed our stay. The only thing if I had to complain was the noise of a door slamming. I think we may have been close to a room used by staff in the morning maybe a store?. We were woken up both mornings.
Also when I rang down to order breakfast this morning I felt we were a hindrance and she said they may not take our order. I rang around 9.20. You either do or don’t? Breakfast was expensive €47 for poached eggs and bacon, tea and toast and room service.
