Ideal location, short walk to pleasure beach and staff, entertainment and food fantastic. Free parking was a bonus too. Couldnt fault our stay. Great price. Would highly recommend!

My wife and I have stayed at the Carousel quite a few times. The last times we stayed there has always been a cabaret. This time there was none. I noticed the price of room was greatly reduced so without thinking I booked.. In hindsight I should have phoned and checked before booking, for it there was no cabaret I would not have booked. There is nothing wrong with the Carousel the food, room, cleanliness are perfect only the hotel is like a warren and the rooms appear to have disjointed numbering and take some getting used to. I am pleased to say they provide two chairs in the room.

Nice hotel for a few nights. The lifts are a little old fashioned, using the old gate version. They're also quite small only holding 2 people with luggage but there are more than one in different areas of the building. Its very easy.to get lost but we soon found our bearings. If you like to watch TV in the bedroom then you may be disappointed as the TV is quite small. However, we didn’t bother, and there is a big TV in the lounge downstairs. Breakfast is included and was buffet style. It was hot with plenty of choice and nicely well cooked bacon. Overall we enjoyed our stay and thought we got what we paid for. We would consider a return visit

Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Room freshened and items replenished daily. Dinner and breakfast excellent. All staff were brilliant. Great customer service! Will definitely be back.

Stayed here years ago. Returned last week with kids and their gran. On arrival, check in was easy and staff were very helpful. However they had us on the top floor, and their lift is very outdated and small, so we struggled up three flights of stairs with children, a stroller, suitcases etc. As we got higher up, the heat smacked you in the face. We entered our room and could hardly breathe for stifling heat. We set up the fan and the window was already open. This was so uncomfortable that we ended up requesting to be moved room. We were moved down one floor but the room was just as hot. We used three fans during our stay, removed all duvets from their covers and put wet cold towels around the room to try cool it down. I have never been so uncomfortably warm in all my life - no exaggeration. It absolutely ruined the stay, as everything else you couldn’t really complain about. Breakfast was standard, not the best, not the worst. Seems more of a hotel for elderly visitors now.

Always a good stay. Staff very friendly, lovely breakfasts, beds need updating springs actually hurt this time.

The reception staff were lovely we arrived 2 hours early but our room was ready so we went in. Average tea/coffee and shower things. Breakfast poor, buffet cheap breakfast. Lovely staff throughout

Nice hotel cleans and very helpful staff made my way up early and they got me early check in always worth ask . Parking free at the back hotel . Entertainment of night was good and loads friendly ppl a lot calmer hotel than being up on main part were a lot busier 1 mile to the fair which why we came for .

Over all very good

We were allocated a room on the 3rd floor but we noticed straight away that the toilet was leaking. The staff were straight onto the problem but it couldn't be quickly fixed so we were moved to an alternative room which was more spacious and with a nicer outlook. The room was comfortable and had all we needed. We enjoyed the breakfasts and booked to eat in the hotel each night and were not disappointed- good food, and not too pricey. On our final evening i became ill in the early hours of the morning- we needed to ask for assistance and the night porter, Gerard, was excellent and did all he could for us, assisting in setting up a visit to see an emergency doctor at the hospital. We were grateful for his care and concern. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times.

Stayed here several times. Friendly staff, lovely food. Clean hotel. Sadly beds are so uncomfortable affecting quality of sleep.
