Guests must realize the Inn is old, and along with that comes weird smells, creaky floors and small rooms. The Amazing Breakfast and the friendliness of the Inn’s family/staff make up for everything else.

What a most memorable time away. I looked for a comfortable place with charm and warmth where my daughter and I could spent a few days writing while doing a couple hikes in the Smokey's and Blue Mountain Mist Lodge was all that and more.
The hosts' goal may be to make their Inn feel like home but to me it was more like going to visit a favorite aunt who thoroughly spoils you. A place where you feel free to roam all the nooks and crannies and snuggle in to one of many cozy spots to read a favorite book.
Special touches include thick towels, temptation station (desserts), comfortable bed with soft crisp sheets, drinks throughout the day including diff ones such as cold brew coffee, sweet iced tea and more on our visit- such fun to have so many choices!
There are too many special touches, corners, treats to mention here and I don't want to spoil the fun of discovery to anyone actually choosing to stay.
I also don't want to build this up so much that the place couldn't possibly live up to expectations at all times so just come knowing it is a wonderful place to stay and then enjoy all the attention to detail and care the lovely hosts offer!
PS: As vegetarians we were surprised that host went to trouble of creating a full Vegetarian breakfast. Breakfast was a sausage stromboli with scrambled eggs and bacon on side. We had the same full meal in vegetarian form. So thoughtful!

Property was gorgeous and authentic, but it could have used some basic maintenance. However, this will not stop us from returning. Owner’s family was delightful and very accommodating. Breakfast was amazing!

This place is a home type atmosphere. The staff truly aim to make sure you enjoy your stay. I’ve recommended this place to every coworker, family member and friend since our trip. The rooms are very quiet. We stayed on a very busy weekend and once we left the common areas and was in the privacy of our own room, never was able to hear another houseguest. The Breakfast is a must.

I was enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived. The ambiance was a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern elegance, with beautifully decorated common areas that invited relaxation and conversation. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the cozy sitting areas with plush armchairs to the tasteful art adorning the walls.
My cottage was a sanctuary of comfort and luxury. The decor was inviting, with soft, high-thread-count linens, a beautiful bed, and some antique furniture that added a touch of timeless elegance. The en-suite bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a spacious walk-in shower, a deep soaking whirlpool tub, and a selection of high-quality toiletries that made me feel pampered.
One of the highlights of my stay was the gourmet breakfast served by deliver that morning. The culinary experience was nothing short of exceptional, with a variety of freshly prepared dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. From fluffy pancakes to a savory frittata - every bite was a delight. The fruit selection was marvelous with the fruit dip as an accompaniment.

Room was super clean. Overall decor is old fashioned - country style but that is intentional. Staff was very attentive. Just my personal opinion is that It felt like I was in another person’ house and not a “paying guest”, so for me that felt kind of weird, so I preferred to be inside the room while I was there, but it was just me, and nothing to do with the hotel.

Outstanding location and mountain top view. Main house and grounds beautifully restored. We stayed in one of the cottages. Beautiful and secluded. Inside equipped with a full kitchen, living room, dining area, bedroom, jacuzzi, bathroom and more. Outside had nice back porch with chairs and a porch swing. Breakfast was included each day either delivered to our cottage or in the main dining room. Cute cats around the property. Convenient drive time of ten minutes to most all attractions. Will definitely return and recommend.

Bottom line - this place is not as advertised. We anticipated a marvelous stay, based upon the reviews. instead we arrived to find the entire staff gone, with the exception of one young woman who told us (repeatedly) that she was left on duty from 0700 - 10pm for a solid week, while the owners went on vacation - leaving her alone to do literally all the work- including cooking and serving the breakfasts, cleanup and reception. It was nuts - we felt awful for her. the property itself has a very limited view, and the 'trail' is nothing but a grass field with a mowed path that passed nothing. they advertised a spa on site, but it was closed for the first 3 days we stayed, and when they finally answered their phone on day 4, it was to tell us that their spa staff (who would be normally doing facials) was temporarily filling in at the hotel, so there was no availability. Added to that, each morning, when breakfast was served, it could not be eaten until we all prayed to Jesus. Had that aspect been advertised, we would have at least known to stay elsewhere - but it's not written anywhere. We ended up leaving a day early and just the expense because we were so uncomfortable.

Wonderful bed and breakfast , staff were great. Wood fireplace in the lobby next to couches, books , coffee and evening desserts were idyllic. Best part was meeting the other guests in the family room type of lobby - we made new friends while on vaca. My wife also used the spa and had a great experience ( deep tissue massage. )

Lovely farm house that has the look of having been on the property for generations but is actually only 35 years old. Filled with antiques and farm house/country decor. The owners Christian faith is important to them and is on display throughout the inn. Staff is lovely. Super friendly and accommodating. Home made breakfast was delicious and served in the dining room on traditional country dining room tables and chairs. Gorgeous property and lovely wraparound porch offering many relaxing seating options. Rooms comfortable and decor country antiques.

My wife and I really liked this bed and breakfast. The breakfasts were always delicious, and we never left hungry.
Our one complaint was the jacuzzi tub/shower combination. Getting in and out of the tub was very dangerous. We never slipped, but we were both afraid that this might happen.

What a beautiful piece of property! We were welcomed in by the staff and enjoyed our conversations with some of them and other guests. We feel fortunate to have found this place run by such warm, genuine people!
We stayed at the cottage with the king bed and pullout couch. It was so cute! The kitchen and bathroom could both use updating but they were fine. The bed was comfy- a little extra soft topper would be useful.
The friendly cat came by and sat with us outside too!
