Stayed for one night, the only downside was the lift was not working. Was at the hotel for an event so it was convenient to stay. Breakfast had a selection of hot foods.
The room was clean and comfortable, id stay again.

One night stay. The hotel and rooms are very dated, very old decore and old style bathroom with shower curtain.

Stay was reasonable however hotel was generally in need of a refurb with paint on doors quite grubby, also stains on the ceiling and an air con unit badly in need of cleaning. Bed was quite uncomfortable. There was also no bottled water in the room.

I stayed here because I had an event close by and it seemed convenient. Little did I expect the issues I would face. Non-working toilet, no hot water in the sink, a shower that only had scalding hot water, gum and debris embedded in brown g, a window that wouldn’t close, the constant smell of burning wood fire, a party that went to 1 am, scratchy towels, a breakfast that I couldn’t eat (ate a stewed tomato and coffee) and countless other issues. And this was after changing my room

Our bed was quite uncomfortable which was a shame as overall this is a nice hotel.

A good hotel to tour film locations around Pinewood and Black Park. Ample parking, drinks terrace & garden, cosy restaurant with limited menu. Food prepared well, nothing fancy. Rooms are decent & clean, perhaps looking a little tired around the edges. Bed mattress soft. Good all round stay, friendly and courteous staff.

Air conditioning in room does not work, only kicks out hot air. A fan is provided, but it is incredible laid and just blasts warm air around the room.
As a result I needed to have the window open all night onto a main road. This was very noisy.
Sweltering room, with little to no sleep. Would not recommend this hotel.

This is a tired hotel which could be so much better. First room allocated was tiny, no A/C, dirty old carpet. Staff were great about reallocating us, but the "upgraded" room was little better. No working lift, A/C very poor, understaffed at meal times. The grounds are lovely, but we won't be returning here.

The hotel, and gardens etc are pleasant enough and the room was very comfy. The staff were super helpful and very professional. The reason for my lower scores is the hotel was hosting a very very large traveller community wedding on the same night and this wasn't explained at booking time. They were up most of the night shouting, swearing etc directly under our room windows. We did not feel comfortable or safe to complain. The wedding also trashed the communal toilets near reception making them unusable for us whilst we ate in the restaurant. A quieter evening I am sure the venue would be lovely.

Very nice hotel with excellent staff, food very good and a brilliant setting in large park land.
Only draw back with it being a converted older building it can be a bit noisy from floor above. Would definately stay again

Really pleasant check-in and breakfast staff made me feel welcome. Even the chambermaids chatted with me!
Yes, some of the facilities were tired but perfectly adequate.
There was quite a lot of road noise from the dual carriageway outside but, as I always carry earplugs, this was not a problem for me.

This was my second stay at the hotel and a vast improvement on my first. The room was much more fitting of a 4 star. Well proportioned with a hairdryer, luggage rack and fully equipped bathroom including a bath. These were the essentials that my first room lacked. One thing that has been consistent throughout though is the wonderful staff and excellent level of cleanliness. As before my room was spotless and check in/out was easy with ample parking available on site.

25mins from Terminal 5. We stayed for an overnight after a late flight. Good value for money and easy to find with the sat nav. The room I was in was a good size and the bathroom decent. Also had free parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if I fly early or artive late into T5.

The room was very clean if a little tired. The bed was comfy and the bathroom a good size. A few basics were missing though such as a toilet lid and sanitary bin. The bedroom is advertised as a single room but I didn't have space to open my suitcase properly. Not a massive issue but something to bare in mind if you don't travel light.
The reception staff were lovely and there was always ample parking of an evening.

Lovely hotel with clean spacious room. Staff extremely helpful and friendly from check in to restaurant. Food was fantastic I had a pizza from the gorgeous wood fire pizza oven. Breakfast was perfect too, lovely sat watching the roebuck grazing on the lawns outside

Second time at this venue and the service from the moment you walk in until you leave is excellent. The room was brilliant. Really recommend this place.

The restaurant is right next reception and all I could smell on checking in was old cooking oil and fried food. This put me right off eating and as soon as I checked in, searched the area for somewhere nice to dine. The room was ok but for the price there much better local coaching inns that offer better quality and facilities. The really off putting aspect of my stay was the smell of cannabis wafting through the air vents.

Overalp, the hotel was good. It’s clean, in a nice area and parking is great. Couldn’t see the benefit of the executive room over the normal double and the kitchen closed early so had to go elsewhere.

Met and greeted with warmth, advised on dining straight away as we were running, food was really nice and service was really good. Left this morning to a very nice gentleman working the reception. Overall a really good night

I can’t find a way to complain about the listing for this hotel. It’s clearly not a 4 star hotel or anything near it. It’s shabby, cold and badly maintained. The food is cheap quality with little choice.

Not quite as advertised rooms do not have BT sport. WiFi didn't working our room. Photos of rooms on the website show the rooms with more colour. It was basic. Served us well for location
