Very nice hotel with good breakfast

My room had an infestation of spiders. They took over the wall and the windows. I tried to move rooms, but the hotel was booked. They told me there was nothing they could do. My parenter qnd I attempted to kill as many as we couod to get through the night, but it was an impossible task. The spiders woupd go down the cieling onto the bed. Nothing was done during checkout because "there was no manager on site" it was ridiculous.

Very helpful staff at check in, lovely big bedroom. An excellent choice for breakfast and the food was really good. Only negative was no food in hotel apart from breakfast and no bar facilities. A very enjoyable stay and would return if ever in Cork again.

Conveniently located property. We were very grateful to be able to park our car in the lot early and explore the town before checking in. The staff were friendly and professional.

Spacious, very clean room, hotel nicely located. There was no aircon in the room nor a bidet in the bathroom. Large selection of breakfast options, friendly staff.

What a discovery 5 out of 5 everything as good as promised The breakfast was amazing delicious made to order smoked salmon and scrambled eggs can't wait to return and the best of all the free ultra safe parking.

Lancaster Lodge is ideal for a city centre base with parking. Everything is within walking distance and the hotel is reasonably quiet at night. The breakfast is good. The rooms are showing signs of needing some maintenance and sprucing up but it is clean and well run. Rooms near to the lift are noisy.

Great visit wished we had more time the front desk staff were extremely warm and inviting. He made a map to help us find places to eat and recommended a few places. One of his recommendations we were fortunate enough to get into and it was delicious.

We enjoyed our stay, staff were friendly and hard working. Great breakfast and great bars not to far a walk (around 5 minutes). Hotel is in a good location too.

Realy lovely, big room! Very clean and comfortable. Room was very warm and couldn't get the air-con to work, but the windows opened. but this was reported to reception who asked someone to take a look. Really nice breakfast.

I liked this property and would stay there again. Did not eat in the hotel. Lighting in the bathroom could be a bit better, but other than that this hotel met or exceeded my expectations.

Spacious, sunny room, attractive, clean and well organised. A lovely lodge overlooking the river......so that sense of space from the road. Staff were v helpful, quick to respond and friendly/professional. Extremely convenient for the city, without being in the centre, you can walk to everything....galleries, shops etc. I felt v happy and comfortable there. Beautiful university grounds within a few mins and a v beautiful park/gardens/museum by the river nearby....if you fancy a stroll and tranquility. I'd recommend it. Only one thing that disappointed me:I would have v much appreciated a radio (the radio did not work on TV).... otherwise, a great memory and I'll be back.

Amazing location and facilities! Navigating to the hotel is a bit tricky though.

This hotel was PERFECT! Located centrally, the staff was friendly and accommodating. Due to COVID restrictions they're not cleaning rooms every day, but the place remained spotless, and they left a care package outside of our door with linens and such first thing in the AM! There is construction currently going on across the street and next door, but with the windows shut the noise was not loud. Comfy beds, great price, EASY parking, and excellent staff made this a great stay.

Great staff, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice. Room was alright, shower/tub had plenty of hot water with strong pressure. Room was actually hard to cool down, but did eventually with the open window and included fan. The only real issue was the construction around the hotel. Immediately behind, and also next door there are major construction sites that begin work early, so don’t plan on sleeping in. The huge crane right behind the hotel is brightly lit at night, so the room had some light coming in around the curtains. Not a big deal for us but if you need a pitch black room would be a problem. There is construction up and down the river in Cork, so there’s nothing the hotel can do about it. I would guess by summertime the construction would be done, but you may want to check. Cork is a really fun city, and almost everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location to walk to many of the city highlights.

Only stayed for one night , bed was very comfortable & room was fine , bathroom could do with a good deep clean , lot of old dirty around handles in bath tub , & mildew around tub . Desk took €20 from my credit card , said to cover extra we might use & that it would be returned to a/c if we didn’t use . Bit ridiculous as you pay for everything as you get . I wait & see how long I wait for refund . Towels were clean & soft & large bath sheets.

The room was very hot. Threre eas buildimg work outside. Not their fault.. breakfast room very bright and colourful and the breakfaat was lovely. Staff very attentive. No negatives really. Great having free parking and could leave the car there the next day while we went shopping.

Excellent stay for 4 nights. Would have liked to be a bit nearer the city centre because we're elderly. The hotel is spotless. Great breakfast. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff. They are professional and very very helpful. I would go back here. I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The property is very clean. The location is good with just a walking distance to restaurants. The woman who checked is in was very nice and upgraded our room. The room was clean and spacious. The only thing was that the bathroom sink has a regurgitating noise when water was draining. It would wake up somebody of one is using the bathroom and use the sink in the middle of the night. We paid for breakfast with the room. The food was good with nice choices. Greatly recommended!

Quiet and clean hotel near the river. Several convenience stores, also the one working late hours, are within walking distance. Friendly staff. Good value for money.
