We were given a suite room as an upgrade. And it was a really wonderful room

The room was good but the pool was very cold and hot tub was just warm. Other then that was an ok stay .

Nice place. I unfortunately booked here instead of Cadillac so I was super frustrated. Besides the extra 1 1/2 hours drive I had great service and a great night sleep. Beautiful sunrise for breakfast to start a new day.

Loved everything except I don’t like toilets that don’t have a seat, cover or alert. And the lighted mirror was so close to the electrical plug. It was very hard to plug in a hairdryer. Other than that I looked everything else about the hotel.

One night stay. Casino close by and a limo takes you there for free, just be sure to tip him! Mike our driver was great. Get your $15 casino voucher as well.

The room felt very old and dirty because the tile, grout, etc was not cleaned well. Also, the room was on the main floor, so it was noisy, both from the people upstairs and the parking lot which was directly outside the window.
It was a disappointing experience.

While my hotel experience was pleasant, I have to bring attention to the many stains I encountered throughout the facility. My hotel room had many carpet stains, a theme of hotels these days; I can only assume this because of the availability of a microwave and frig. Also, the dining area had massive stains on the booth seating. I would have rated it higher if more attention had been paid to cleanliness.

The reason we stay here (again) is because we know what to expect. I've stayed at HIE several times over many years. Alway have good service, clean rooms and desent breakfast. Nothing fancy but always clean and comfortable.

Room was clean and suite was nice. However pool area needs attention. Ceiling fans are filthy with black dust that is hanging off in some spots. Rusted rods to the pipes and the hot tub water was a bit yellow.

Our room is fantastic! Fireplace, jacuzzi tub, full fridge and mini kitchen. The checkin attendant was extremely nice. He offered us a FREE limousine service to the casino. I wasn’t expecting so many “extras”. I thought we were just getting a standard room in a standard holiday inn and it’s nothing but MORE!

After staying at many hotels that week, when we got to this one it was clean even smelled clean, the towels and sheets didn't tear your skin and the bed was unbelievably comfortable, it didn't sound like anyone was coming through the ceiling. A little pricey but after what we experienced the past few days prior there was no complaining.

Our fire alarm went off, low battery chirp, all night. When telling staff in the am, we didn’t even get as much as a sorry, just a “I’ll let them know.” Hopefully they fixed it for the next guest. A room here is way too expensive to have to deal with non-accommodating staff and unsafe fire safety for all guests.

We stayed in a king, jet tub with extra living space and balcony for 7 days. The bed was comfortable, and bedding was clean; and the larger refrigerator was nice.
However, the jet tub was filthy, rust flakes came through all the jets. The shower had very little water pressure and we had to pick between cold or scalding most of the time. There were little broken (what I think were carpet staples) coming through the carpet in several areas that were big enough to poke our feet. And the pool area needs a real cleaning, the fans for example were caked with dust and dirt and gunk hanging over the pool. For the price point, I’d expect better.

Beautiful facility, not a speck of dirt in sight, everything in excellent working order, amenities in new/very good condition. I wanted to stay longer. Staff very friendly and helpful. The TV remote needed a new battery which was quickly replaced. Comfort and convenient and cleanliness A+++. We will be back.

Hotel staff was great! Would recommend to family and friends. Never heard our neighbors. They have a transportation option for evening, we did not use. But is a nice option to have with all the local breweries/shops/casino. Con: hot tub was not clean. However, the sauna was very nice!

There were only a couple issues with our stay and nothing major. There were some loud teens that also stayed and someone pulled the fire alarm. Not the most ideal when you are in the top floor. Also there was a bag of Easter candy behind the couch that someone missed while cleaning and Easter was 3 weeks ago.
