It's too old. Poor food, little attention to the guest and little space for the numbers of guest specially in the swimmingpool

Had a very relaxing stay at costa jardin and spa - most of staff very friendly rooms cleaned every day and towels changed when requested
Location on the outskirts of Puerto de La Cruz the hotel provided a shuttle bus about five or six times a day to the shopping centre/centre of Puerto de La Cruz and back again which was very helpful as a very steep walk back to hotel
Outside pool - pool table - snooker table all very good
Food was okay always found something to eat - dissapointed that one day chicken was pink (from show cooking) so check it’s all cooked but rest of times was good
Met some lovely people all trying to make the most of the sun at this time of year being close to volcano and height of hotel from sea level I think affected cloud level but it never stopped us having a great time
Plenty of choice of drinks at the all inclusive bar and fruit and sandwich outside of meal times which was helpful if you had been out and missed a meal
Only disappointment was we booked this hotel as it had indoor facilities - indoor pool jacuzzi and spa but it was out of action being refurbished which would have been nice when weather wasn’t nice enough to sit by outdoor pool - I feel we should have been informed about this before our stay and we never received the facilities we payed for and was offered

The hotel stay is good. Staff are nice and friendly. However the food options were very limited with negligible vegetarian, international or local options. Food was recycled over multiple days. Leftovers from one night were recycled into a different dish the next day. Dissappointed with food in this hotel.

Hotel, the pool with a lot of sunbeds and the gardens with all the flowers, palms and everything were really nice. Also the location is really nice, only park the car is sometimes pretty hard. What was definitely worse was the food, we were excepting much more from 4 star hotel in Europe, quality of the food was really poor. I don't mind the small selection, but I thin the quality is important. Even we had all inclusive, we went to eat several times outside to the city. We had the cheapest room, but I still at least excepted to change our towels. This never happened and we stayed there 5 nights! Only 2 sockets in the room and one of them worked only sometimes, another one in bathroom, so charge the phones, laptop and other things we needed to be able to work, was little bit challenging. It's little bit sad because this hotel has a great potential. But stuff was really nice. Fortunately we are really easy going persons so we enjoyed the stay here anyway, even without clean towels, but next time we will probably stay in another hotel.

I really liked the hotel overall. The pool area and terraces were lovely and the grounds were beautiful with all the plants and flowers. Shuttle bus into town was great and punctual, we used it a few times.
Food was a let down, not enough choice. What was available wasn’t bad I would have just have liked more options. Also the animation staff were present but didn’t do much. Mini disco is advertised at 20:30 and at 20:40 I had to knock on the door to ask if there were actually doing it. This also happened with the kids club during the day which should have been 10:30-12:30 but finished earlier and earlier everyday and there were around 5-6 kids waiting there daily so they had no excuse not to open. They just didn’t want to, which was a shame cause the kids loved it!

Hotel dated bathrooms bedrooms need make over. A fantastic pool and plenty of sumbeds. Some female Reception staff quite rude. Others very nice.
Good buffet food always plenty of it. Sofas need cleaning upgrading in public area. But house keeping excellent rooms and public areaa very clean. A good location for a break. Shuttle bus through day to town. Taxis only 5 euro if not wanting to walk up hill on way back! All in all a very nice place!

The hotel was ok - lacked things that would have made our stay more comfortable: tea kettle, fridge & tea making facilities.
The hotel is a distance from main area but we didn't mind the walk. But having tea making facilities like a kettle would have been nice rather than pay €1.50 every time we wanted tea.
The hotel had 2 irons!!! And no ironing board.
Everything you wanted required a deposit.
Beach towels were shredded and lacked fresh laundry look.
Housekeeping isn't very thorough. In the end, we didn't want them cleaning our room & just changed towels.
The reception (except Sonia) lacked English & communication skills.
The only good thing about the hotel was the pool and there were families which was nice.
Don't except anything great as you will be disappointed.
If you want basic facilities & no communication with any staff, you'll be fine.
It's too bad as we think this hotel has A LOT of potential to be a great place.

The hotel was perfectly convenient (if you have a car). It's about a 15 minute walk down the hill to the hopping part of town with restaurants, bars, clubs, etc....For families that just want to mostly enjoy the hotel with all its amenities then this is a GREAT place! My biggest concern are the mattresses. Mine was HARD..not firm, but hard. I had to get the extra blankets from the closet and make an extra pad under the sheets. I stay in more than 65 hotels each year and this hotel's mattress ranks in the top 5. Bring an extra pad unless you are used to VERY FIRM mattresses. Parking is a bit challenging around the tiny circular driveway, but the neighborhood is relatively available if you need to park the car. I would stay here again since the value is outstanding!

We did not use neither the swimming pool or any of the entertainment because we quit the hotel early the morning and come back at midnight. Hwever the rooms are clean. People are gentle. The location of the hotel is close to Laguna, and the natural parc of the North of Tenerife, as well as the Teide. excellent location.
It is probably more a 3 stars hotel than a 4 stars.
