Staffs are very friendly and willing to help. However, it is expensive to stay.

Good place

Waited 10 minutes at front desk for staff to arrive and check us in. Another guest went to track her down. When she arrived she was very rude. She acted like we were bothering her by checking in. Didn’t speak to us at all. Just gave a room key. There was another couple waiting as long as I was. We were put on first floor right down hall from check in and it was loud all night long. Walls are very thin.

Our original flight to Fairbanks was delayed by 9 hours. So we got there around 11:00AM. One room was ready and the other was not. No big deal. We found a great place to eat lunch with in walking distance and did some shopping. When we got back the other room was ready. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again next time in Fairbanks.

Fairbanks is a nice town and I highly recommend the Discovery Riverboat cruise!

Nice property. Close to major shops and restaurants. We requested late checkout to finish up our laundry and the front desk graciously accepted. Would stay here again.

The people in the room above us, you could hear every foot fall. Some kid was running up and down the room well passed 10 PM.

Very kind and welcoming staff when we arrived. Hotel breakfast was amazing. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Used the fitness center a few times while we were there and really enjoyed it.

The hotel was good. A standard hotel in my opinion. Quite highly priced for what you get. The blinds did not work and we had to manually put them down and hook them up in the morning. Comfy bed and could have slept all night. Shower over the bath was good but some days it was Luke warm water.

I really liked that it was around areas to shop in and that there were places to grab something quick to eat. The staff was kind and even gave my husband a small gift since this trip was for his birthday. I enjoyed my stay here.

At check in, we were given a key, we went to the room and it was two queens, I had thought I asked for a high floor king. I went back to the desk, and said it could have been my mistake, but did she have a king, She said I had booked two queens, but she did have a king but on the first floor, which wasn't an issue. I thanked her, but when I got to our new room I checked my reservation through Hotels. I had booked a high floor king. It's not the error, I completely understand that, it's the untruth. But, the bartender was nice, the room was very clean. Our blackout shade didn't work, it wouldn't go up, which was a bummer as we are from AK, not tourists, but my husband was able to fix it in the morning. Still searching for our favorite Fairbanks hotel.

There weren’t a lot of hotel options in Fairbanks, and Hyatt Place is probably one of the few hotels that looked more updated. A couple of things to note: 1. The shuttle service is not reliable. We called for pick-up when we arrived at the Fairbanks airport, as instructed. A couple of minutes later, we received a phone call from the hotel informing us that the shuttle driver had gone home for the day. They told us that they had called us a taxi and that they would be reimbursing us. We waited for the taxi for 30 minutes and it never came, so we ended up just calling an Uber. We did receive a reimbursement for this ride. 2. Pay the extra money for a high floor room and request the top floor (4th floor). We paid for a high floor room and were given a room on the 3rd floor. We could hear every single footstep from room above us throughout the night. We could also hear every time they dropped something on the floor and it was quite bothersome. Our stay was fine for one night, but it wasn’t the most comfortable.

Wonderful staff - helpful and friendly

My stay at Hyatt Place during my visit to Fairbanks, Alaska was exceptional! The hotel is impeccably maintained, hygienic, and feels refreshingly new. The inclusion of Chromecast with the TV was a fantastic surprise, making streaming seamless and enjoyable. The spacious room and impeccably clean bathroom added to the comfort of my stay. One of the highlights was the complementary breakfast, which offered a variety of options to start the day on a delicious note. Additionally, the shuttle service to both the airport and rail depot was convenient and punctual, making transportation hassle-free.

Loved the big bedroom we had. It was very clean. The staff were very friendly. The pool area was clean. They had a big breakfast that is included. It was a great stay. I will definitely be staying again.
